75th anniversary of VE Day next Friday

Are there many left who were at that celebration in 1945 . Heid InTown Hall Square we ( my brother and I) watched as the centre of town was filled with revellers dancing . The top tune then was “Don’t fence me in “ with the Andrews Sisters. Also “The Three Caballeros”. What a night after all the years of blackout
