Evocative photos of Dalton Mills. Anyone still living in Keighley should be campaigning to save these historic buildings before the arsonists destroy them altogether.

Dalton Mills are Grade II* Listed, so how can they be demolished unless they fall to a similar fate to that of the former Oddfellows Hall, which was demolished at 6am one Sunday morning, despite also being listed but in the way of Morrisons (sic) car park.
The point, Dave, is that as the buildings are left to decay: a) they are vulnerable to arsonists and vandals (see video at bottom of photo page); and b) Councils are prone to allow demolition, even of listed buildings, when they fall into such disrepair as to be considered 'unsalvageable'. So a campaign would be merited to ensure the buildings are saved, restored, and put to use.
Thanks for that link. Certainly looks like they have been saved since the flickr photos were taken. Now I understand why you couldn't see my point! Did you have a look at the flickr photos? I assume we're talking about the same buildings. If so, judging by the new Dalton Mills website, it looks like a miracle has been performed!
Thanks Allan,
It certainly is and BBC1 used to transmit one of their Sunday morning programmes from a studio based in the former mill complex.
Apologies for he delay in responding.
I noticed an article in the Keighley News recently about a company called 'Fright Nights West Yorks', hosting a ghostbusting tour of the disused parts of Dalton Mill during early May this year. It is reported that the mill has a rich and fascinating history with numerous reports of sounds and strange sightings. It was rumoured that 'a lady in clogs' could be heard wandering around one of the top floors and that a former foreman called 'Myers' had been 'sighted' roaming the building watching over his workers. The first 'Ghost Hunt' is on May 2nd from 8pm to 3am and costs £50 !! I shall not be there!!
