I spent a few happy hours last weekend helping Ian celebrate his 80th birthday. He sends his best wishes to anyone who may remember him. I guess that there will be a few!

Noticed your post and thought I would drop a line to wish Ian a happy birthday. My name won't mean anything to Ian as he is a couple of years or more ahead of me, but I remember him as he was in the late 40s and from memory, Ian was the first lad to gain his school cricket colours/cap while still in the 3rd form. He was followed a couple of years later by my good friend Derek Stow. What terrific cricketers those lads were. Cheers.
