I noted in The Keighley News(Aug 9th-P20) an article reporting the recent death of Bernard Johnson in California. The article commented on his attendance at KBGS and his engineering apprenticeship at Prince,Smiths; followed by his marriage and his emigration to Canada. Following his divorce and re-marriage he moved to California. Sadly, he was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2008 and died recently at the age of 71. I was not at School the same time as Bernard but I remembered his name from this Forum's well-used thread "Yorkshire Words and Sayings" which he originally posted.
