..it would be higher in the Olympic medal table than South Africa, Japan and Australia

I prefer the non-Guardian version..........
You can allus tell a Yorkshireman - but you can't tell him much.

All this just goes to confirm what we've known all along. If Yorkshire was a country, the rest of G.B. would be sod-all!

Just logged on to yahoo news and there is an updated table of medal winners by BBC and Yorkshire has replaced Australia on it. It gets better! Cheers.
