I think that the young lady you refer to was Maureen McWhinney. Don't tell me that you have carried a torch all these years. She is on the front row, 14 in from the right hand end.(as looking at the photograph).

That's correct Derek, She did play badminton, and tennis. She married Patrick Hill and left the village many years ago to live somewhere in the Midlands.
