So, we haved established that the location could well be correct for 1963. Some of these youths were with me in the fifth form when I left in 1960. If I can be persuaded they spent three years in the sixth form I am happy to accept it was 1963. Q.E.D.
I believe James Harding was two years older than his brother, David, who was in the same year group as me. So James must have left in 1963. The photo must be from either '62 or '63.
I'd go for '63 on this. BTW is young Spike pictured here the same guy who features on the recent reunion pics? Nice guy as I recollect, as was young Ben Tren, also pictured.
Much depends on how long is a piece of string - ie who did how long in the 6th etc. Sad to read about David Clarkson. The real clue must be in the tech/textile coll windows behind. Did they suffer in the fire? I think it still all hangs on Watthey's suit.
