Studfold Farm does exactly what it says on the tin. Situated in upper Nidderdale, excellent base camp for walking and exploring the Dales. The camping and touring area consists of two acres of flat grassland with easy access and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and is equipped with electric hook-ups. There is a small shop, supplying basic daily needs, in the farmhouse/reception, a short distance from the touring area. There is a new toilet and shower block, in the touring field, with free showers and deep sinks. There is a disabled/baby change area.
Nidderdale offers a splendid variety of scenic beauty in which to unwind and relax. There is a wealth of leisure pursuits nearby and for those into culture there are museums, heritage centres, historical castles, abbeys and country houses a short car journey away.
There are two good local pubs serving traditional fayre and a variety of restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. Try the Crown at the top of the hill in Middlesmoor, Malcolm is famous for his lock-ins and his wifes Steak and Ale pie is something else. I've never tasted one better yet.
