Dedicated to God  the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Stop.... for a moment and think about the worst pain you every suffered in your life, and then multiply it 100 times plus, this is just a estimate, of how much the Lord had suffered on the cross.

Jesus hung on the cross for about 6 hours, suffering for yours and my sins. Six hours of suffering, with the pain worsing as time past, with breathing getting much more difficult. If the Lord's suffering isn't heartwrenching I don't know what is!!! I had a vision of Jesus hanging on the cross, before I came to know the Lord, I'll share the details in dreams & vision section. That vision changed me forever!

If you could see the look on the Lord's face, and you know He's nailed to the cross because of your sins, you can not walk away without being deeply touched by such an experience; unless your heart is made of stone!

Please take time to read you Bible today, and take the time to meditate upon the words in scripture, they are not just words or fables, this really took place, and Jesus did it for you and me, before we were even born!

Good Friday, has always been a solemn day for me. Oh yes, there is good news for all because of the Lord's sacrifice, come whomsoever will to Jesus, for through his selfless sacrifice we are saved! However too many don't want to remember that it was our sins, that nailed the Lord to the cross. We were the cause of His pain and suffering, so in shame and in guilt, we quickly try to dismiss, that horrific ordeal out of our thoughts, because it is too hard to bear!

Stop....and cry tears for Jesus today! Tears of remorse for what our sinful actions were responsible for our Lord's Passion of great suffering! Remember to thank Him for taking our place on the cross on Good Friday! For there is no greater gift then to willing lay down your life for another! The Lord laid down His life for all of us! The least we can do is live for Him daily, and never forgetting the great price of suffering and death Jesus paid for in full for each one of us on Good Friday!

Thank you Jesus, for dying in my place for my sins!

I'm so sorry I sinned against you my Lord and my God!

Forgive me for the pain and suffering they caused on the cross! Jesus, I pray that your Holy Spirit will guide me to everlasting life with you and all the Angels & Saints! Amen!

Jesus Loves You All, He proved His love on Good Friday!

Re: Stop...

Valerie, thank you for this post. In times of pain I do think of what the Lord Jesus endured for me and all of us.
His giving of Himself has been a comfort and helped me to endure. The Lord has promised us to be with us and not leave us as orphans, He has promised us to be with us always even to the end of the world.
People have not understood what happened at Eden. Jesus told us that we are slaves of whom we serve. Adam willingly became a slave to an evil master. Eve was deceived, but Adam sinned, choosing an evil one to serve and believe rather than the God who made them. Jesus paid a very high price, giving His own skin and life here as a man to pay the cost of purchasing us back to be the servants, although loved ones, of God the Father. He purchased a "bride" for Himself, someone to love in bonded love with forever. The price was paid in full, we know, because Jesus said , John 19:30, It is finished when He was on the cross before He died. What Satan did not count on was that God would raise Jesus from the dead to live forever more, penalty for us paid, forever alive with His Father.

As long as I've come to this site, you and mods and posters have encouraged people to come to Jesus. You (all) have been faithful to tell people about Jesus. We have differing abilities, some limited by mobility and health issues, but the Lord guides each one of us and is able to use each in whatever way He makes possible.

The Lord is so good, He made possible the breaking of the curse when He took those stripes and suffering.
Here is a witness to the gift of healing God has given. It brings hope that each of us may find rest in the Lord

1Cor 2:7-8
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

John 14:15-20
5 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Revelation 21- the promise of exquisite life for those who submit to God now and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord

The New Jerusalem
Revelation 21:2
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and *****mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Jesus Loves You All, He proved His love on Good Friday!

A reminder for all who suffer...I forgot to bump this up on Good Friday, better late than never.

Let us never forget, that those who are in Christ Jesus, and suffer, share in part of Jesus' passion and are called to follow continue to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. Rejoice if you suffer for Christ's sake, for God will wipe away all of your tears in the heavenly home, which Jesus has prepared for you and all those who love the Lord.

Jesus coming is imminent, the suffering endured to date is almost over, and will end, for our sake and the Lord's, once and forevermore for His own.
Amen!

Maranatha,

Valerie
