“Gog” is “the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal”. The proper translation is “the prince of Rosh. Meshech and Tubal!” In Hebrew, the word for chief is “Rosh”. That is also the ancient name for “Russia”.

So GOG is the prince of Rosh, or the president or ruler of Rosh. Simply put.. the President or ruler of Russia.
