"The Christians killed and wound in these senseless, wicked, brutal killing and maiming atrocities, cry out to the heavens. Their blood shed is crying out to the Lord for justice; when Lord, when!!! Just a little longer, and the justice of God will pour upon those who shed the blood of God's people.

I'm shocked, totally shocked, on the holiest day of the year, slaughter, mayhem, has struck on the Christian people of the Earth, again and again. My condolences and prayers go out to these people and their families. My prayers are with the victims and families. May God comfort them as they mourn their loss.

Lord, please comfort our Christian Brothers and Sisters in Sri Lanka, who have lost their loved ones, friends and their families that morn...Lord come quickly and bring Justice to this earth; your people's hearts are breaking, and their strength to endure, is fading quickly. Help us Lord, for all Christians are doomed to die should the Lord tarry much longer. I'm sad, I'm weak and I'm so worn out Jesus...have mercy on all of us, and save us from our enemies.

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — The clock hands on the steeple of St. Anthony’s Shrine were stuck at 8:45 a.m., the exact moment when the first suicide bomber’s explosion ripped through the wooden pews as Easter Sunday worshipers were praying.

Minutes later a second suicide blast shattered the Sunday brunch tranquillity at the Shangri-La Hotel’s Table One Restaurant, a favorite of foreign tourists.

Within a few hours on Sunday, suicide bombings hit three Catholic churches and three upscale hotels in the Indian Ocean island nation of Sri Lanka, still recovering from a quarter-century civil war in which the suicide bomb was pioneered.

More than 200 people were killed and at least 450 wounded in the bombings, which the finance minister, Mangala Samaraweera, called “a well-coordinated attempt to create murder, mayhem and anarchy.”

When I heard about this it just ripped my heart out and makes me sick.. so sick of this evil earth! How much longer we cry out lord!!!???!!! I’ve had the thought cross my mind that this could happen while I’m at church too!
I know He sees.. I know Vengeance WILL BE HIS!!

I couldn't contain my tears, as I read this out loud to my husband. I cried with a broken heart for their loss, mourning as if they were my friends and family.

Yes, you are so right, that thought crossed my mind as well. What if it was us, or our family members in our Church; a place of prayer, a sanctuary...a place for Christian to gather and worship God. After all is said and done, they are our Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus....sadly, the death toll has risen now,
290 died, and 500 injured.

Ironic isn't it, just prior to the first bomb explosion, the priest asked how many here would die for Jesus today if they had too, since Jesus died for them; majority people lifted their hands, especially the children who were present, and then the first bomb blew...! Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Amen!
