Rapture Flight to Heaven

Dedicated to God  the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Sermon notes:

Dr. Andy Woods | May 16, 2018 |Luke 10:17-20 | The Coming Kingdom

Explaining parts to Satan's defeat, and about the word translated as "watching" in Luke 10:18 passage. The word is imperfect tense (a past yet continuous action) theoreo

this is the word that "theory" comes from. Dr Woods says a better translation would be that Jesus is contemplating when he saw Satan fall. As eternally existent God, Jesus was present and involved when Satan originally fell, causing Satan's fall.

Seven Parts of Satan's Defeat

1) Initial eviction from heaven, when he lost his angelic position
 Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:12-17
Satan can still go into heaven to communicate and accuse:
Job 1:6-12, Luke 10:17-20

2) Eden, when Satan is put on notice that he is a defeated foe: Genesis 3:15

3) Pre-diluvian world: 1Peter 3:19-20

4) At the cross, Satan becomes a convicted criminal, but sentencing is not yet imposed on him
  John 12:31, 16:11, Colossians 2:15, Hebrews 2:14,1John 3:8

5) Mid Tribulation: Revelation 12:9

6) Beginning of millennium: Revelation 20:2-3

7) End of millennium: Revelation 20:10
