1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ:
Just wanted to share, the most awesome, 50th Wedding Anniversary, & my Husband's 70th Birthday. It was reserved and planned back in February 2017, by our Son & Daughter, along with their Spouses. Our Son and daughter-in-Law came to pick us up, and we had no idea where we headed, it was to be a surprise. On the way there I tried to guess, what kind of food, we were going to have, and they said go ahead we won't tell you until we get there anyway. I exclaimed I think it is Ukraine/Polish cuisine, and was told we'll see when we get there. When we got there it said Golden Lion, I thought to myself this must be oriental food, until we were seated.
Then I asked my Son do they specialize in Chineses Food, he said no; they specialize in Polish/Ukrainian Food. I was so delighted, as We have not had any for some time now. Our children pre ordered the menu beforehand, with variety of foods, including appetizers, along with four course meal. They had also ordered two cakes, one birthday and one 50th anniversary. Let's say there was a lot a food, and a lot of leftovers for the next day for everyone.
It was a total surprise, as we had no idea, that they had gone to so much trouble, and effort to make our 50th Wedding Anniversary, extraordinary. It was a joyous occasion filled with love, laughter, song, music and excellent food. We freely expressed our feelings, with tears of joy and thanksgiving, and intermediate laughter, because of happiness, great company, along with all the many wonderful anniversary gifts, along with Birthday Presents for Ed & live entertainment.
They had reserved a table and had pre order several generous courses of assorted delicious Ukrainian food, we love, along with two cakes, one birthday and one 50th anniversary. A live band, playing & singing Ukrainian, & Polish Songs. The live ban announcer, announced Congrats to us on our 50th Anniversary, & my hubbies 70 Birthday as well. Everyone, along with our family actual sang Happy Birthday in English and Polish, since that's his native language. We danced together once as I stood in one place, swaying back and forth with him to the music , because of my disabled legs. Another time a fast dance, he held my hand as I spun around all over the dance floor in my small mobility scooter. The rest of the dancing was daughter & father dance, grandfather & granddaughter dance etc.
They also gave us 50th Anniversary Congratulations, from the Govern General, The Premier of Ontario, as well as the Prime Minister, who actually signed it, each in their own frames. What a surprise! So many beautiful items, with engravings our names, wedding date, and 50th Anniversary, and a beautiful plate with all these engraving and our wedding picture at age 20. But the best thing of all, was to be with our children, their spouses, our grandchildren, family.
Thanks be to God for blessing us with these wonderful children and grandchildren, who have made our lives, a better place on earth for us, and all the people in their daily lives, especially their spouses.

Thanks to Ed, for all his help to this day, I don't know what I would do without him. His love shows caring, and has grown, through the passing years, and the two of us have become one.
July 22nd, 2017, was one of my happiest days in my life, and I thank God for every minute of it.
