For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
Valerie,
I just got word this morning from my nephew, Mark, that my brother, Vic, passed away last night peacefully in his sleep. He's gone.
Maranatha!
Tammy
Tammy,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your brother Vic, last night. My prayer is may he rest in peace in the arms of Jesus and be with our Lord forevermore. I prayed for him last night as the good Lord brought your brother's name to remembrance. My sincere condolences.
In Jesus' Love,
Valerie
Valerie,
Thank you sooo very much for your comforting words, prayers, and condolences too.
I too, hope 'n' pray that Vic has gone to be with our Lord forevermore, and that he now is resting in peace...and that we'll see him in heaven when we're raptured.
Love 'n' hugs,
Tammy
Tammy, sending my condolences, asking God our heavenly Father to comfort you and your family.
Valerie & Regina--
Thank you sooo very much for your prayers and kind words of condolences.
Yesterday, Valerie, I started losing it, as I was reading your condolences to my now newly widowed DSIL, Char, over the phone. She told me to thank you for her too, for your kind words.
She, like me, is in total shock over her husband, Vic's passing. Even my nephew, Mark, and his new wife, Krystal, too. We're all in shock!
Vic, was taken up to our local hospice, because he was feeling so uncomfortably miserable. There, they gave him a shot that would make him more comfortable. It was there that he died peacefully in his sleep.
And now for the shock of losing him to wear off of the four of us.
Love in Jesus,
Tammy
Tammy,
I join in prayer with Regina, that Jesus comforts your whole family who is now grieving for the loss of Vic. It's never easy to lose someone you love to passing on in death.
May Jesus be amongst all of your midst and comfort each one of you especially his wife. May God give you His peace that surpasses all understanding.
Our hope is in the Lord and the afterlife, in heaven, with our Lord Savior and Creator. No one loves Vic, you, or me, or any of God's children, more then the Lord our God. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord".
Stay close as a family, and closer yet to Jesus especially now, and lift one another, with hope and faith, that one day you will all meet Vic in Heaven. What an awesome day that will be, to meet up with our loved ones who have passed before us.
I'm praying for you and your family, that Jesus will be the comforting shoulder you can lean on knowing that the Lord will never leave you or forsake you.
Lord, Jesus, comfort Tammy, Vic's wife and the rest of the family during this trying time of grieving their loss of Vic. Lord please be present amongst them, and send them your loving peace that surpasses all understanding, that all is well with their loved one. Jesus you have overcome, death, hell and the grave; which gives us hope of eternal life in your presence forevermore. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. In Jesus name I pray and believe! Amen & Amen!
Tammy, I'll Praying for you and yours!
In Jesus' Love,
Valerie
P.S.
When my mother died suddenly at home of a sudden major heart attack, the good Lord send me a sign on the day of her burial. This bright rays of light shone so brightly over her open grave especially over the cross on the coffin. Immediately this peace fell over me and present family, that really did surpass all understanding. I remember smiling and looking up to the heavenly blue sky and thanking God for His mercy on her. To me it was a sign from God that Jesus was present with us, and that she was with the Lord, and was fine.
Absent from the body, present with the Lord. I believe - Amen!
Hi Valerie!
I too, (thanks to Jack & Rexella Van Impe, sending me this 2017 PROMISE CALENDAR, a while back) found this text for Saturday, 3/11/2017:
Psalm 84:11 KJV
For the LORD God is a sun and
shield; the LORD will give grace and
glory; no good thing will he withhold
from them that walk uprightly.
under the Courts of the LORD heading at the top of the page, in my JVI Prophecy Bible. When I read that, I felt even more comforted.
Oh, by the way, Mark, my nephew, told me that Vic had donated his body/or cadaver to a science foundation to study and take samples of the cancer that caused his death.
Anyhoo, I just thought that I ought to let you know. OK!?
Maranatha!
Tammy
**BUMP UP!!!**
Valerie, Kathy & All--
This morning, I talked to my DSIL on the phone.
When Vic had been admitted to that hospice hospital, I asked Char (when she phoned me this morning)...if he had been prayed over by a Man of the Cloth, there. She said that he hadn't.
She reassured me that after they prayed at home, she was certain that by God's infinite mercy, had taken him (Vic) home to his heavenly home. I hope 'n' pray that that is true, don't you?
Anyhoo, what do you make of this latest news from my DSIL? Do you feel yourself, that it is indeed true?
Please by all means let me know, OK!? Thank you.
Maranatha!
Tammy
