1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Last Saturday/or Sunday night, I happen to be watching the BYU-TV channel. They showed "the" story behind the writing of this beautiful Christmas Carol--"Silent Night". This film told the story of a young priest, Joseph Mohr, who was born and raised in Salzburg, Austria; come to write this Christmas Carol.
"Silent Night" was originally a poem that was written into an ala lullaby, by Joseph's friend, Franz Gruber (of Obendorf, Austria)...who also composed the music that we've come to know and love today.
Btw, the 2nd verse is:
Silent Night, Holy Night
Son of God loves pure light,
Radiant beams from Thy Holy Face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord at Thy birth.
Jesus Lord at Thy birth.
"Silent Night" was written & composed Christmas Eve of 1818, and presented to Mohr's congregation either Christmas Eve/or morning of the 25th of December.
Joseph Mohr died the very same year that one--Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (aka Wyatt Earp), was b. 19 March 1848. How' that for a major coincidence!?
