Today are our Federal Elections, and all across Canada people will be voting. Steven Harper, our Progressive, Conservative, Party Leader, and Present Prime Minister of Canada is up for elections. He is a Christian, and a long time supporter and friend of Israel, unfortunately I can not say the same for his opponents. I hope, that he continues to stay on as our Prime Minister, and him and his party, will surely continue their ongoing support for Israel and the Jewish people. Yes, me and my household will vote, it is our duty to do so.

my husband and I voted when the polls opened this morning. Praying for God's will to be done, that Canada would yet be used in His plans for His glory.

The elections are over, and Justin Trudeau has won a majority seats in this election, and the other two parties, the PC. and NDP's might as well stay at home, and watch TV all day.

Majority rules, and runs the country as it wills, and the say of the other two parties, has little or no meaning whatsoever. What were these voters in Canada thinking, my dear Lord and God, is everyone under some kind of hypnosis, or living in a fantasy world. Is everyone high on drugs and alcohol, or is it spiritual principalities influencing, those who are easily swayed?

One of J. Trudeau's promises was to legalize marijuana for personal use, hmmm, some must be thrilled...! To borrow billions of dollars and get us into debt, which most likely our children's children will still be paying back, just the interest part. A person who has no clue about running the country, or politics, coming from a primary school teacher. What a mess. I would have rather seen the NDP win instead, of someone on the coat tail of his father's name of yesteryear. God help the innocent,
the pure in heart and mind, and all the children growing up in this perverse timing.
May Jesus not tarry too much longer; H e l l is expanding daily, I'm sure.

I'm very sadden by the outcome, of these elections, for someone who won the elections on his father's name, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, a Prime Minister, many moons ago, who did quite a number on our Country. We are in Big trouble, with his Son, in charge, with no idea, how much harm he will do. Like they say, we're in deep doo doo now, and there is no way of getting out of these s h i t t y shoes stuck in it. Our country as far as I'm concerned, will deteriorate, to the point of no return. Tax, Tax, Tax us to death, is only the beginning much worse is waiting for those who are celebrating their victory. We'll see how happy they are in the near future, when reality hits them like a brick on their head, and the partying is over. I'm praying to God, Jesus will come way before then and take us home, via the Rapture; I can't bear to see and hear nothing but bad news. It's get worse, each day, all over the world, and now our Country is headed down a slippery slide when no hope for many years to come. When will it end Lord, I've had enough!

I'm very upset, however, it is very clear to me, that the tribulation is at hand, as I see Countries, like the U.S.A, Canada, and others sinking in quicksand of sin and sinfulness, taking the majority of people with it straight to the gates of H e l l.

Our Country Canada is now in a vulnerable position, and Israel has lost one of it's best friend and leader Stephen Harper. I'm sure God will now remove the blessing this Country has know for many years. I am in mourning and grieve for Canada; it is as
good as dead now, and it won't be long when the stench rises, people will wonder where it's coming from, and how to get rid of it, and they'll find out, there is no way out.

She urged the Harper government to investigate. She explained why Obama is targeting Canada: “To the U.S., Canada is the country next door, to Obama it’s home of the architects of the maligned Keystone XL Pipeline and home to the world’s Number One elected defender of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”Indeed, for the last seven years Harper has not only been supporting Israel but functioning as the leader of the Free World, in the face of Obama’s deal-making with America’s enemies and adversaries. In 2014, at the summit of G20 nations, Harper famously told Russian President Putin that he needs “to get out of Ukraine.” Putin replied with a lie, saying the Russians weren’t in Ukraine.

Harper has declared, “Israel is the front line of free democratic nations, and any who turn their back on Israel or turn a blind eye to the nature of Israel’s enemies do so in the long run at their own peril.”

In a recent speech to the Jewish Community Council of Montreal, he said, “Those who hate democracy and freedom, tolerance and openness, having been plotting attacks against Western nations, beginning with Israel, for decades, seeking to destroy our rare and precious way of life. We were told for years to just ignore the erosion of freedoms and the growing aggression of Putin’s Russia. Look where that has taken the world.”Canada used to have a conservative cable channel, Sun News Network. But it went out of business earlier this year when the channel failed to get enough distribution to pay for expenses. Cable companies in Canada were carrying foreign channels such as Al Jazeera and Putin’s Russia Today, but wouldn’t carry Sun News. Brian Lilley, a former host on the network, said that the cable companies “didn’t like the message.” He explained, “They didn’t like that we were brash, we were very conservative. We were pro-business, pro-family, pro-oil, pro-Israel. We were pro-America…They decided to shut us downLilley and his former colleagues have formed TheRebel.media as a replacement, with special news coverage of national and international news. The group’s YouTube channel, with 1,500 videos, is the place to go for conservative coverage of the Canadian elections and other news. Their videos have already attracted millions of views. A report by Ezra Levant on the election describes reporters at Canada’s state broadcaster, the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), as “liberals with press credentials.” Lilley has been leading a campaign to have the government, which provides about $1 billion to the CBC, sell the broadcasting entity to the private sector. Visitors can also get access to podcasts, columns and blogs, and contribute financially to maintain and expand this important site for news and information.

While the Liberal Party of Justin Trudeau campaigns for legal dope and injection centers for drug addicts, and the New Democratic Party proposes Bernie Sanders-style socialism for Canada, the Conservative Party of Canada has been on the side of individual freedom, traditional values and free enterprise. Harper has taken on the jihadists who want to destroy Western civilization and has spoken eloquently about the stakes for the Free World, such as in a 2014 speech to the Tribute to Liberty Dinner in Toronto. The topic on this occasion was the need to establish a Memorial to Victims of Communism in Canada.

“During the 20th century, communism’s poisonous ideology and ruthless practice slowly bled into countries all around the world, on almost every continent,” Harper said. “The result was nothing short of catastrophic. More than one hundred million souls were lost, an almost incomprehensible number. We must never forget that these are not numbers, they are not statistics. They were mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, friends and neighbors. Their futures, their potential, their hopes and dreams, were stolen from them. Our hearts break for those who suffered and we mourn for those who were crushed.”

After affirming Canada’s solidarity with Ukraine, in the face of Russian aggression, Harper described another current threat, international Islamic terrorism, and said, “...whatever it calls itself—Nazism, Marxist-Leninism, today, terrorism—they all have one thing in common: the destruction, the end of human liberty. My fear is this: as we move further into the 21st century, Canadians, especially new generations, will forget or will not be taught the lessons hard learned and the victories hard earned over the last 100 years. That they will fall even further in love with ease and convenience. And that they will not understand that their rights and their advantages, their peace and their security, were won by people willing to live and die for what is good and right.”Harper, in power since 2006, has truly been the leader of the Free World over the last seven years. He is a reminder of what an American president should be standing for in the world. No wonder Obama wants to finish him off.

Canadian Elections Could Spell Doom for Israel as “Anti-Israel” Candidates Gain Ground

On Monday, October 19th, the Canadian parliament will hold elections, possibly jeopardizing the pro-Israel stance of its government. The Conservative-led Canadian government has been one of Israel’s best friends for nine years, standing up for Israel time and again in international bodies such as the United Nations, as well as the G8, under the leadership of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Breaking Israel News spoke with Ilan Mann, a Conservative party activist working on the campaign of an incumbent MP (Member of Parliament) for Thornhill, which has a very strong Jewish representation. Mann described why it is so important for people who care about Israel, Jews and non-Jews alike, to vote for the Conservative Party of Canada.

“The Conservative government’s record on Israel has been second to none, both in Canadian history, and in the international community,” he explained. “This is represented clearly by the fact that several Israeli and Canadian publications have commented that Harper is ‘Israel’s best friend.’”

In January 2014, Israel honored Harper by giving him the “Key to the Knesset” in thanks for his friendship. Harper, in an address to the Knesset, told the Israeli people and the world that Canada will stand with Israel through fire and water.

Harper’s “morality doctrine” has been the lynchpin of his government’s foreign policy for the Middle East, often garnering bad press for Canada. When Canada’s bid for a coveted seat on the United Nations Security Council was rejected, the Conservative government’s Israel stance was cited by its critics as a possible explanation why.

“The Conservative Party of Canada recognizes Israel as a beacon of freedom in a region plagued by oppression, tyranny and terror, which is why we will continue to stand with Israel on the world stage,” said Mann. Indeed, the Harper government has not flinched from the proverbial slap in the face it received from the United Nations, even going so far as to harshly criticize the international body by calling it a “debate club for dictators.”

It seems that other parties vying for control over the Canadian parliament are looking to appear strong on Israel as well. According to Mann, “This election, every party has tried to emulate the Conservative Party’s principled position on the Canada-Israel relationship.”

However, Mann added, this newly adopted stance may not be as genuine as it seems for the Liberal or National Democratic Party (NDP). “The reality is, that actions speak louder than words,” Mann said. “The Conservative Party is the only party that is not running, and will not run, a single anti-Israel or anti-Semitic candidate.”

“The Conservative Party will never take the middle road when it comes to the only democracy in the Middle East,” he added.

Mann said that the track records of other candidates running for office speak for themselves. “The NDP ranks are ripe with anti-Israel candidates, including star candidate Andrew Cash, who has spoken in favor of the BDS movement,” he pointed out.

Mann also noted that the Liberal party’s list features anti-Israel MPs. “The Liberal ticket includes Omar Alghabra, former head of the Canadian Arab Federation, who has refused to condemn Palestinian suicide bombers as terrorists, doesn’t believe that Hamas is committed to the elimination of Israel and said that Israel’s actions in defense of its citizen during last year’s operation in Gaza were ‘blind and cruel’,” he told Breaking Israel News.Mann compared the empty rhetoric of other parties to the Conservative Party’s consistently pro-Israel actions. “Meanwhile, the Conservatives have spoken publicly against the BDS movement, have stood by Israel in the face of rockets and ongoing terror, and defunded the Canadian Arab Federation for their support of terrorism and promotion of anti-Semitism,” he said.

“When it comes to the question of the Canada-Israel relationship, there has never, in our short history as friend and allies, been a starker choice,” he concluded.

Canadians go to the polls on Monday, October 19th, in what is shaping up to be one of the closest elections in Canadian history. According to current election polls, the Liberal party has a strong lead. What this will mean for Canada’s close relationship with Israel remains to be seen.

Dear sister in Christ, we are seeing another step in the steps it takes for prophecy to be fulfilled. In Obadiah 1, it talks about the day of the Lord is "near". Not here, but "near". Canada, has tipped even more in line with the nations, the nations mentioned in prophecy, in Zechariah 14. Valerie, when I was wondering about the election, it came to mind that when the Lord takes the church to safety, as God removed Lot before judgement, then even if God fearing people were elected, they would be removed at the gathering of the church. In the US, in Canada, all over the world, when the Lord gathers the church, only the ungodly who were in office will remain. Prophecy is getting rolled out.
Fear not Valerie, God sees you. We are closer now than ever to the return of the Lord. We'll keep in prayer together for people in our nation to be saved, for Israel to come to the Lord, for Christians to stand in faith every day until the Lord comes. Prayer for the unsaved in the nations to be saved each day until the Lord returns for us, prayer for all the Lord lays on our heart. God is with you, He will not ever leave you.
