1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

'Spectacular' meteor showers to light up the sky

The Perseid meteor shower -- an annual display of natural fireworks -- should be particularly spectacular this year, with extra-dark skies expected to create optimal stargazing conditions, astronomers said Friday. When the celestial show hits its peak overnight Wednesday next week, up to 100 shooting stars per hour will streak across the sky for a spectacle visible around the globe.

Hi Valerie & fellow RFTH Family Members!

Due to the fact that us Arizonans are still very much into our Monsoon Season (we have six weeks more to go)...

What with the clouding-up 'n' all, we were unable to watch this spectacle in the sky.

We did, however, have a whole bunch of spectacular lightning shows though...you know--such as the kind that totally freak me out.

So please share with the rest of us RFTH Family Members about whether or not y'all got to see this 'spectacular' event...or was your night, like mine, completely cloud-covered?
