1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - Sat. April 4th.

On Saturday morning, April 4th, sky watchers in the USA can see a brief but beautiful total eclipse of the Moon.

Luke 21:25-26

The Return of the Son of Man
25"There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.…

Isaiah 13:10
The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.

Joel 2:31
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

Luke21:25
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Total Eclipse of the Moon
What about a total eclipse? There are approximately nine total eclipses per decade, or about one total eclipse every 13 months. A total eclipse lasts about an hour, so (again doing the math) the moon rises in TOTAL ECLIPSE ON PASSOVER about ONCE every 312 YEARS. Source Eclipse website eclipse gsfc.nasa.gov. Re: TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - Sat. April 4th.

Crucifixion darkness

When Jesus died there was a Solar eclipse, and there was DARKNESS.

In the Gospel of Mark -

Jesus was crucified at nine in the morning, darkness fell over all the land, or all the world from around noon ("the sixth hour") until 3 o'clock ("the ninth hour"). Immediately after the death of Jesus, that "the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom".

In the Gospel of Matthew -

"From noon on, darkness came over the whole land [or, earth] until three in the afternoon. There were some dramatic details, including an earthquake and the raising of the dead. The earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised

Re: TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - Sat. April 4th.

Thank you sooo very much, Valerie, about the heads-up watch for the total eclipse of the Moon, this coming Saturday of April 4th. I will be watching IF us Arizonans can see it happening way out here in our southwest corner of the U.S.

And speaking of the sun. This morning I saw an awesome sight! Apparently God had arranged the clouds in to a rays formation...so that the sun is rising, we could also see rays of it too.

So now I ask YOU, isn't that awesome or what!?!

Re: TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - Sat. April 4th.

I am so excited about this third blood moon eclipse. More so than for the first two and I suppose that is because I am expecting Jesus to return between this third and fourth eclipse. I could be wrong but I am going to look for Him anyway and will be surprised if this is not our year. So many signs and so much happening right now. We have just gotta be close!

Re: TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - Sat. April 4th.

Texas Sue,

I am very calm, and at peace knowing, that the Rapture WILL happen, and it WILL be very soon.

I too am speculating, that perhaps, on the 3rd moon, this being April 3rd, is a big heads up watch. The Lord lead me to do an extensive research study on the number 3, and I seen how many things are done in three's by our Lord.

Even our God, is 3 persons in 1. Jesus was 33 years of age when He was crucified, April 3rd, 33.

But what really jumped out at me was that on the day Jesus died, the Saints were raised from the dead. 3 things happened when Jesus died on the cross, as follows in this article below. Therefore, since the Rapture is imminently, means that April 3rd, 2015 could be the day Our Father in Heaven chose Jesus to go and get His children.

The following comments from The Bible Knowledge Commentary

27:51-53 (Mark 15:38; Luke 23:44-45). At the time of Jesus’ death, three momentous events occurred. First, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. This curtain separated the holy place from the holy of holies in the temple (Heb. 9:2-3). The fact that this occurred from top to bottom signified that God is the One who ripped the thick curtain. It was not torn from the bottom by men ripping it. God was showing that the way of access into His presence was now available for everyone, not simply the Old Testament high priest (Heb. 4:14-16; 10:19-22).

Second, at Christ’s death a strong earthquake occurred, splitting rocks (Matt. 27:51). Truly the death of Christ was a powerful, earthshaking event with repercussions affecting even the creation. A third event mentioned was recorded only by Matthew. The tombs of many holy (righteous) people (v. 52) were opened, probably at a Jerusalem cemetery. The NIV suggests that these saints were resurrected when Jesus died and then went into Jerusalem after Jesus’ resurrection. A number of commentators agree with this view. Many others, however, say that since Christ is the firstfruits of the dead (1 Cor. 15:23), their resurrection did not occur till He was raised. In this view, the phrase “after Jesus’ resurrection” goes with the words were raised to life and came out of the tombs. This is possible in the Greek, and is suggested in the KJV and the NASB. The tombs, then, broke open at Christ’s death, probably by the earthquake, thus heralding Christ’s triumph in death over sin, but the bodies were not raised till Christ was raised.

These people returned to Jerusalem, (the Holy City) where they were recognized by friends and family. Like Lazarus (John 11:43-44), Jairus’ daughter (Luke 8:52-56), and the widow of Nain’s son (Luke 7:13-15), they too passed through physical death again. Or some say they may have been raised with glorified bodies like the Lord’s. Walvoord suggests this event was “a fulfillment of the Feast of the Firstfruits of harvest mentioned in Leviticus 23:10-14. On that occasion, as a token of the coming harvest, the people would bring a handful of grain to the priest. The resurrection of these saints, occurring after Jesus Himself was raised, is a token of the coming harvest when all the saints will be raised” (Walvoord, Matthew: Thy Kingdom Come, p. 236).

Don't forget these people who were raised, most likely died again and returned to their graves after a period of time; while Jesus rose from the dead,
never to experience death again; therefore, Jesus is the firstfruit, of the Resurrection.

Now the dead in Christ, will be raised, first; like firstfruit Jesus was, never to die again. Just like our Lord Jesus did back so long ago.

Let say, the next day April 4, 2015 after 6 pm in Jerusalem, would already be
the next day,(Ressurection Sunday April 5th) while it's still Saturday April 4, 2015 for us. Perhaps we the living in Christ, will be RAISED UP TOGETHER WITH THE DEAD IN CHRIST IN THE AIR, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE CLOUDS.

Only God knows the EXACT DAY AND HOUR, but we KNOW IT IS NEAR EVEN AT THE DOORS. MARANATHA. Valerie

Sky spectacle: Lunar eclipse to feature 'blood moon'

The first lunar eclipse of 2015 will be on April 4th at sunrise. Although it will be third in a lunar tetrad, this eclipse is special. Find out why... VPC

According to NASA, the total phase of the eclipse will only last about five minutes, making it the shortest lunar eclipse of the century. In the West, the total eclipse will begin at 4:58 a.m. Pacific Time and end 5 minutes later.

In the East, the partial eclipse lasts from 6:15 a.m. ET until the moon sets.

According to Slooh.com, this eclipse will be a "Pacific Ocean spectacle" and it will be best seen from eastern Australia, Japan, Hawaii, northeastern Russia and western Alaska.

For a total lunar eclipse to happen, the moon must be full, which means it is directly opposite the sun, with Earth in between, NASA reports. The eclipse happens when the moon moves into the shadow cast by the sun shining on Earth.

A special treat: Most of the moon will glow some shade of intense orange or red, thus the "blood" moon nickname.

"That red light shining onto the moon is sunlight that has skimmed and bent through Earth's atmosphere: that is, from all the sunrises and sunsets that ring the world at any given moment," said Alan MacRobert of Sky and Telescope magazine.

As for viewing conditions, central and southern California should be clear while clouds could ruin the view in the Pacific Northwest, according to AccuWeather. Most of the central U.S. will be okay, but much of the East and South will be socked in with clouds.

The next — and final — lunar eclipse of 2015 will be on Sept. 28.

Re: TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON - Sat. April 4th.

Valerie & T/Sue,

I too, witnessed this April 4th, 2015, Blood-Red Moon #3 eclipse durng the wee hours of this morning.

I'm sooo very glad that you varified the fact that it was a BLOOD RED Moon. Somehow, has I was viewing it through my binoculars...it did indeed look reddish in color, didn't it?

Thoughts of Jesus' crucifiction & buriel instantly came to mind as I kept my eyes on the moon...as well as Him visiting h e l l to empty it; and then take the pardoned thief on the cross next to Him to Paradise.

And now, the waiting begins all day Sabbath/Saturday until midnight tonight when Jesus (over 2000 years ago) rose from the dead during the wee hours of the morning. Yes, it will be a huge day of waiting for us too, won't it!?

We shall see if we do indeed get Raptured, but if not...still more waiting. Yes!?

Maranatha!

Tammy,

Yes we'll still be watching and waiting, as every day could be Rapture Day.
