1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Just heard that trumpet/shofar sound sounding again--TWICE!!!

Good Morning, Valerie & fellow RFTH members!

I very happy to report to you all that during the wee hours of "this" last Monday morning of 03.23.2015...I heard that all too familiar sound of a trumpet/or shofar blowing loudly in my right ear!!!

Then after I got home from grocery shopping, I heard it AGAIN as I was sitting at my kitchenette table munching on a cinnamon roll.

Val, what could these trumpet/or shofar sounds mean? Is angel, Michael, tuning up his trumpet, for when Jesus returns to taking us all home or what!?! I'm asking, b/c I'm now waiting to hear it still yet a third time...as well as hopefully hearing Jesus calling us by our names to--"COME UP HITHER!!!"

What say y'all, huh!?!

Maranatha!

Re: Just heard that trumpet/shofar sound sounding again--TWICE!!!

Or Gabriel, perhaps? He is, after all, the annunciation angel, and Michael's the warrior angel.

I leave it to Valerie to tell you what she thinks.

Re: Just heard that trumpet/shofar sound sounding again--TWICE!!!

That IS exciting, Tammy! Can you describe the shofar blasts to us? From what I have read, there are three types of blast(s): one long blast, three blasts of medium length, or several quick blasts. Which one of these were the ones that you heard?

I hope it means that we are going home soon.

Hi Tammy,

Probably the Rapture will happen on "one of two days" set aside for The Feast of Rosh Hashanha, (the feast of the blowing of the Trumpets) which was alluded by the phrase of our Lord Jesus Christ when He said, "no one knows the day or the hour except the Father" which is a reference to this fall feast, an obligatory celebration for all Jewish people.

The feast of Trumpets was sometimes called “The feast of the unknown day and hour” because unlike other feasts, it began at the time of the new moon on the first day of the month known as Tishri . Around the time of the first day of every month, two witnesses were sent out to determine the first sighting of the crescent moon. Until this could be confirmed no one knew whether the new month had actually arrived. So the Feast of Trumpets came on a day and hour no one could know in advance. It was also called Rosh Hashanah which is the Jewish New Year, and marked the beginning of 10 days of intense spiritual preparation for the Day of Atonement.

Therefore, it is still true, we don't know the exact "day or hour" because only the Father knows the exact timing/day. However, Jesus told us that if we "watch" for the "signs" of His Coming, we WOULD know when it is near even at the door.

If this truly is the case, and we have been interpreting the signs correctly, then with all the signs pointing to a "Shmita year"(a biblical cycle of 7 years) in 2015 this could be the "year".

And if we believe that Jesus was referring to the feast of Trumpets, then we still don't know which is the exact "day" or "hour" , however, we would know that the time has arrived.

I think it goes without saying that most likely when you hear it blown 3 times , then you will know it is near even at the door.

You've read in scripture, that the Lord will raise us up on the 3rd day.

Praying we've have discerned it correctly, and that this year the Rapture would take place.

Maranatha!

Valerie

Rosh HaShanah in 2015 will start on Monday, the 14th of September and will continue for 2 days until Tuesday, the 15th of September.

Note that in the Jewish calender, a holiday begins on the sunset of the previous day, so observing Jews will celebrate Rosh HaShanah on the sunset of Sunday, the 13th of September.

Tuesday, is the day many Jewish weddings still take place and it happens that Tuesday is the 3rd day on the our calendar too.

Re: Just heard that trumpet/shofar sound sounding again--TWICE!!!

Very exciting Tammy! I hope that Jesus is about to come and that the angel armies are ready to escort us home!

I know that the fall feasts are considered the most optimal time by the symbolic aspects of that time but I sure am hoping that it is earlier, either Resurrection Day or Pentecost. Don't want to even wait as long as 8 more months.

Kathy,

I wasn't sure whether it was Gabriel/or Michael: b/c I knew that the former angel delivered the good news to both Zacharias, that he & Elisabeth would be having a son, John; and then Mary too, that she had found favor with God, and He chose her to bare His Son, Jesus.

I also wasn't sure if Gabriel was the 'trumpet' sounding angel/or that Michael might be. The assignments of these two angels seemed rather confusing to me.

Anyhoo, thank you for trying unconfuse me.

Lisaleenie,

That "was" very exciting indeed! Infact, my heart beat fast with excitement for quite "some" time, for which as I stated in my above openning post thread...wondered if we would be going next.

For one thing, those two trumpet/shofar sounds came from a northernly-upwardly direction, that blew in my right ear. They also seemed to be blown halfway between the medium & long blasts, both times. After hearing the 2nd blast, I jumped-up from my chair and ran outside to look up at the sky. I, of course, was looking for Jesus.

I too, hope 'n' pray that we're going home soon.

Tammy, I hope you saw my post as well, as this is what I believe the 2 blasts from the Trumpets meant...could be a confirmation of the Rapture come this fall. Valerie

Re: Just heard that trumpet/shofar sound sounding again--TWICE!!!

Tammy, thanks so much for sharing your experience with us regarding the shofar blasts.

Like Valerie explained above, I, too, have always seen Rosh Hashana was a high watch day for the reasons that she gave. Of course, I can also see Pentecost as a possibility because that is when the church began, and it would seem feasible that the church age would end on the same day, too. So as far as I am concerned, those are two very high watch days for me.

I hope your shofar experience is a sign to us that we are going to "Come up hither" as stated in Revelation 4:1.
