1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

The Church - Silent Too Long

FLOWER MOUND, Texas,— Christians slaughtered in droves. Videos of unspeakable terror. Threats of blood running in the streets. Attorney David Gibbs of the National Center for Life and Liberty (www.NCLL.org) calls on Christians and Christian leaders to speak up and speak out for life and liberty. “The voice of the church has remained silent too long,” he says. “It’s time for pastors and ministry leaders to boldly declare the truth of the Word of God. It’s time for religious leaders to come out of the closet on the critical moral issues of our day.”

The moral issue displayed across the media almost daily is the wholesale slaughter of Christians around the world. The moral issue the world tries to ignore is the killing of innocents through abortion and the devaluing of life in end-of-life issues.

“In Acts 4:29,” Attorney Gibbs continues, “the Apostle Paul prayed this for the apostles: ‘And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and grant unto Thy servants that with all boldness they may speak Thy Word…’”

Americans must exercise their freedom of religion by speaking the message of the Bible freely and with boldness and standing for life and liberty everywhere. The National Center for Life and Liberty (www.NCLL.org) works tirelessly to defend the many freedoms bestowed upon us by God.

This month marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Terri Schiavo. Attorney Gibbs represented her family in the battle of life that played out ten years ago when water and food were removed from Ms. Schiavo, causing her to die a hideous death after thirteen days of suffering.

In all these arenas Attorney Gibbs calls upon Christians to do these things: Stand for life, pray for others and be bold to speak the truth of the Gospel.
