1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Fear not for God is with us even to the very end! Amen!

Re: Whom Shall I Fear

And there are these words spoken by Jesus, Himself, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, our former President, too...

John 14:1-3, 27 NKJV
1 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

I just love these comforting words of Jesus' also:

27 Peace I leave you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

And there are these words from FDR:

"There's nothing to fear, but fear itself."

T/Sue, thank you for that beautiful comforting song.

Maranatha!

Tammy thanks for those verses, they are some of my very favorite ones. This song stayed with me all day yesterday. I couldn't stop singing it. It is powerful.
