1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke blames paedophile priests on radical feminists
Re: Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke blames paedophile priests on radical feminists

Ridiculous! This cardinal needs to man up and admit that sin is sin. No one makes someone else do sinful things - they choose themselves to go out of bounds and do wrong things. Just another example of a "blameless" society mindset. The same mindset calls alcoholism a disease, not a sin entered into with one's will choosing to do what is wrong. Same excuse that homosexuals use - not our fault - born that way.

When God has made it so very simple and easy for anyone to come to Jesus and be forgiven and cleansed from sin, people continue to find excuses and claim victim status for the sin they wish to continue to wallow in and enjoy.

Jesus Who paid the enormous price for our sin will also be the Judge on that last day. Is this what they will say to Him to justify their filthy behavior? What about all the dear children whose childhood was stolen and their lives destroyed by these dirty men? Jesus issued a very severe warning to those who would hurt these little ones.

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

I totally agree with you Texas Sue. Put the blame where it belongs, and call sin,
sin. Many lives have been destroyed by such dirty men, who's conscience is seared, where they show no remorse. They feel no shame or regret for their grievous sexual filthy deeds done to the innocent children who through no fault of their own had fallen into these evil minded men's hands. It's better for these men who deal in such heinous attacks not to have been born, for their eternal suffering in the pits of hell, will be ongoing and severe, according to scripture; unless they repent and ask God for forgiveness.

Speaking of looking into the eyes, which are the windows of one's soul...take a look at this cardinal's eyes; no light at all, sheer darkness, the visual appearance of his soul.

Lord, come quickly,

Valerie
