He is the Word “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1. He is fully human and fully God. “And the Word was made flesh, (and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.“John 1:14. He is the Creator “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.” John 1:3. He is the Rock “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:4. He is the Good Shepherd “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11. He is the Saviour “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11. He is the Way “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. I could go on and on…The Alpha and Omega, the Lamb, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the beginning and the end. He is everything.
