1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I posted a link to this youtube over a year ago in the forum . It fits well with your linked article. I still think it's quite possible. Babylon in Iraq is not a busy area of commerce.

I think your right Steve. Many people think that the Old Babylon will be revived but I do not think so this late in the game.

very interesting quote from the Yawm Al-Ghadab in that video about the Madhi destroying Mecca. We know they are expecting their Madhi very soon. I expect the Madhi to unite with the Pope in a one world religion.

Very good point about Revelation 18:19 when people weep over the destruction of Babylon and cast dust on their heads. That's not a custom in the west, but sure is in the middle east, even today...

Steve that is what caught my eye also about the dust. That is one sure clue that elimates a lot of nations.

Wow great catch guys. I've been to Iran and that is a custom over there. Westerners are so different from the middle eastern countries. (except Israel)
This would indeed eliminate a lot of countries from being Mystery Babylon the Great!
