The kidnapping and murder of the three teenage boys earlier in the year set off the most recent Gaza war where Israel discovered the tunnels and the plot of the Palestinians to commit mass murder on Rosh Hoshannah. Although the death of the young men was a horrible thing, it inadvertantly uncovered a horrific plot where the Palestinians had built tunnels opening up into major cities. They had stolen Israeli army uniforms and were planning to come out of those tunnels at a set time on RH dressed as Israeli soldiers and then kill as many Jews as possible before being brought down. Israel destroyed most of the tunnels (hopefully all of them) and foiled that plot.

Will this synagogue murder spree lead to another war with the palies? Looks like it. I expect God will open their eyes to more covered up plans also to protect Israel in their future days.

Also, could this be the Psalm 83 war?
