1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Re: Why does God Allow Satan and the Demons to Attack us?

Other times, the Lord allows testing so we can be a comfort to others later. "Blessed be the . . . God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort, too" (2 Corinthians 1:3-5).

Tom,

I have found this to be true in my life. The trials I have gone through, God has used to be a comfort to others when they face similar testings. I've told many what has occurred in my life and how God brought me through them and out the other side with victory for me and glory for Him! Hallelujah!

Thanks Tom, and thank you Julie for your response. A Big Amen to your reply Julie,
as I too find this to be the case, and I couldn't have said it any better.

We are the Lord's vessels and through our own trials and tribulations, we have a greater empathy for others, since we have shared in similar suffering, therefore we understand what they are experiencing. We can encourage them through the victories God has brought us through and share how it brings Glory and Honor. We are tested to see if we remain faithful, and trust God, no matter, how bleak our situation may be at the time. God is faithful, and the Lord can be trusted at all times, and there is no one on this earth or in Heaven that knows what is best for us, except. Our Heavenly God the Father, Amen.

God Bless!

Valerie

Julie and Valerie, I agree with your comments. In the end we will be strong soldiers for the Lord. As me and my son would say we are going through our boot camp before we graduate.
