1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The government is sliding down a slippery slope. It has opened the doors on pandoras box with marriage licensing. They are standing up for the homosexuals right to marry and brow beating the churches into marrying them. So the government is tossing 2000 years of western history out and now they are picking and choosing which rights are protected by them. Where is our constitution? Where are the elected officials we put into office to protect the voters rights? Where are the Thomas Jeffersons, the George Washingtons, the Paul Reveres?

If someone wants to join in a union why force it onto the churches? I thought our 2000 year history in Western Culture protected our rights to not have others beliefs forced onto us. This is why our founders came to America, to keep the government out of their religion. This is why they drew up the constitution to protect the people from the government.

What is stopping an adult who wants to marry a child under the age of 10? Soon they will be standing up demanding the right to marry children! People say it won't happen. They do it all the time in the middle east.

To put a stop to all of the arguing and bickering they are now saying to not even issue marriage license? The world has gone completely mad.
