1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Tammy praying for your brother...does he know the Lord?? If not I will also pray for his salvation 
My DSIL called me yesterday, which was mid-morning @ around 11:30 A.M. (MT).
She told me that my brother had a quadruple (sp.?) bypass surgery, and is also being treated for pnemonia (sp.?) that he got when the Medics tried to revive him. She said that his heart actually stopped for a minute, for which they finally, after working on him, started his heart up again. And once he was revived, they were amazed when he set up, and begin to pull off those whatchamacallits
that they put on your chest to get your heart beating again.
CC (my nickname for my DSIL) also said that on that machine, Vic's heart beats were all over the place.
I will indeed keep you folks up to date on my brother's condition, and I thank you all for your continual prayers...even for his salvation too.
Valerie, b/c I fully trust in the Lord, I am staying calm about what's happened, as well as also continuing praying for my brother's full recovery too.

Tammy how is your brother today? Please let us know how he is doing and what the needs are. Praying too that God will keep your heart in perfect peace and assurance. Praying that Holy Spirit will draw both your brother and sister-in-law to faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord. God bless you Tammy.
Hi! & Good Morning to you, T/Sue!
I really wish that I had more news regarding my brother's health, to share with you, but neither Kevin & his wife, Tina, nor I have heard anything more--newsworthy, to share. So, presumably, he's doing fine...and hopes to come home soon. But it isn't really up to him, but his Doctor's.
Please pray that God takes his (my brother) desire to smoke entirely away from him. For his again taking up this very nasty habit of sneak smoking is, what we believe caused him to have suffer his latest heart attack. SMOKING DOES KILL!!!
Sorry about me not being able to provide further news on my brother.

**UPDATE!!!**
I have wonderful news to share with you all!!!
My brother and my DSIL returned home sometime Saturday afternoon. And then only just last night as I was watching Hayley Mills' Disney Film--In Search of The Castaways on the BYUTV channel, I got a phone call from my brother.
He is still in the healing process and he has to be attached to an oxygen tank until his lungs clear up from his pnumonia. His chest still is stapled from his quadreple heart surgery, but it will be a matter of time that they will be removed.
I ask you to please still keep him in your prayers (even for his salvation) until he is completely healed. OK!?

Oh, Tammy, that IS good news! The Lord is sustaining him. I will continue to pray for his total and complete healing, and especially for his salvation....and that includes your DSIL also.
Sometimes the Lord will use circumstances to bring others to Himself. I hope the Lord uses your brother's illness for that very purpose. Usually people do not realize their need for the Lord when circumstances are going their way. But when tragedy happens, that is the biggest motivation to turn to the Lord.

My DSIL dropped my brother by for a little while, so he could see how things are going at his shop.
He was joking about his scar being a zipper, b/c he had sooo many staples that stitched-up his chest where he had that quadraple bypass surgery on his heart. He was, however, rather weak, but that's par for the course...considering what he went through.
Today, he has an appointment with his doctor...so we'll have to wait 'n' see how that visit went...
I will indeed, keep y'all up to date on that. OK!?
Lisaleenie, you're most welcome for my update on my brother. I also will keep you in my prayers as well. For I hope 'n' pray that the Lord will heal you completely, and that you (just like my brother) will up 'n' kickin' too.

Today is my brother's birthday. I'm glad he made it to his 71st birthday, aren't you!?!

The number 8 means new beginnings; twice over. A new beginning for him, and perhaps a new beginning for us via the Rapture.

Btw, Val, soon, my brother will be able to breathe on his own, for which he'll no longer need to breathe through that oxygen thingy. He will also no longer need to carry that small oxygen tank with him everywhere he goes, either.
He's also exercizing his heart, by taking daily walks with his wife (my DSIL) & their wee little dog, Coco Puff. Then she makes him rest for a couple hours.
She also takes him to his weekly doctor's office for weekly checkups.
You're sooo very right on, sis...his 71st birthday does indeed, mark a new beginning for him--healthwise.
I also surely hope that that double "8" marks a new beginning for us via our possible rapture too.

Hi Everybody!
I'm happy to report to you all, that my brother has shed his oxygen apparatis (sp.?)...plus, his (stapled) stitches have also been removed. My DSIL, with the help of those Aloe Vera Plants, is rubbing these AV leaves onto my brothers scar...causing it to vanish altogether.
Yesterday, I saw him sitting in the driver's seat of their RV, starting up its engine. He looks really great!!! I truly believe that he is well on his way to complete recovery.
And I thank you all for your kind prayers to the Lord, asking Him to please helping my brother recover from his heart attack. For with His (Jesus') stripes, he is healed!!!

Oh, Tammy, this is great news! Thank you so much for giving us this positive update. God is so good, isn't He? 
Thank you T/Sue, Valerie, Lisaleenie & All, for your much needed prayers for my brother's almost full continual recovery...for your prayers are MUCH appreciated. He keeps improving day-by-day as the days go by.

Thank you for asking about my brother, dear sis.[Hugs]
My brother is doing fine...just fine. But he still has to take things slowly, until he is fully recovered.
For the last couple days, he & his working partner (who is doing most of the work), have been slowly-but-surely making installments on a CAM AM machine (which is an off-road vehicle) for a customer. So today, Thanksgiving eve, they hope to finish it. KNOCK ON WOOD!!!
