1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

There are important parallels between Jewish feasts and the fulfillment of Christ. For example the Passover is now celebrated as the Lord’s Supper. The Sabbath is now celebrated by the Resurrection.

Some other parallels are:
Pesach / Passover
Hag HaMatzah / Feast of Unleavened Bread
Bikkurim / First Fruits
Shavout / Feast of Weeks (Pentecost)

Jewish tradition holds that Rosh Hashanah celebrates the anniversary of the creation of the world, a day when “God takes stock of all of His Creation,” which of course includes all of humanity. Translated from the Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means “head of the year” – rosh means head, while hashanah means year. Jews believe that God’s judgment on this day determines the course of the coming year.

Rosh Hashanah is a Jewish festival in which most work ceases, just as on the weekly Sabbath. It’s celebrated both in joy and solemnity. During the daily prayer service a ram’s horn, or in the Hebrew, shofar, is sounded:

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.” (Leviticus 23:23-25)

God does not do things in vain, or without purpose. The Old Testament Holy Days were not just some sort of Divine make-work project to keep the Israelites busy while they were out wandering in the desert. All of the Old Testament Holy Days (Passover, Days of Unleavened Bread, The Feast of Weeks, The Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, The Festival of Tabernacles and the Last Day) were, and continue to be, living symbols of the stages of God’s Plan of Salvation for all humanity. Those events are now in progress, and true Christians are the manifestation of it.

In the Christian world, Rosh Hashanah is known as The Feast of Trumpets. Many Christians observe this festival for its Christian prophetic application – the Rapture of the Church.

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53)

“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)

All the Spring Feasts were fulfilled at Christ’s first coming. All the Fall Feasts picture the Second Advent, and the Feast of Trumpets is the first of the fall feasts, picturing the Rapture.

Now there are more feasts to be fulfilled with the second coming.

Yom Teruah (Rosh HaShanah) / Feast of Trumpets
The Rapture; the last trump; wedding of the Messiah; New Moon; Open Door
Yom Kippur / Day of Atonement
Sukkot / Feast of Tabernacles (Booths)

A special season known as ‘Teshuvah’ which in Hebrew means “to return or repent”, begins on the first day of the month of Elul and continues 40 days, ending with Yom Kippur. Thirty days into Teshuvah, on Tishrei 1, comes Rosh HaShanah. This begins a final ten-day period beginning on Rosh HaShanah and ending on Yom Kippur. These are known as the High Holy Days and as the Awesome Days. The sabbath that falls within this ten-day period is called ‘Shabbat Shuvah’, the Sabbath of Return. Five days after Yom Kippur is ‘Sukkot’, the Feast of Tabernacles. Teshuvah begins on Elul 1 and concludes on Tishrei 10, Yom Kippur. Each morning during the 30 days of the month of Elul, the trumpet (shofar) or ram’s horn is blown to warn the people to repent and return to God.

Rosh HaShanah is also referred to as ‘Yom Teruah’, the Day of the Sounding of the Shofar, or the Day of the Awakening Blast. On Yom Teruah, the Day of the Sounding of the Shofar, it is imperative for every person to hear the shofar.

Yom Teruah is the only festival that no man knows when exactly it will occur. This is due to the fact that it begins on the new moon. The new moon was sanctified when two witnesses see the new moon and attest to it before the Sanhedrin in the Temple.

This sanctification could happen during either of two days, depending on when the witnesses come. Since no one knew when the witnesses would come, no one knew when the Feast of Trumpets would start.

On the 30th of each month, the members of the High Court assembled in a courtyard in Jerusalem, where they waited to receive the testimony of two reliable witnesses. They then sanctified the new moon. The new moon is very difficult to see on the first day because it can be seen only about sunset, close to the sun, when the sun is traveling north. So, looking for a very slim faint crescent moon, which is very close to the sun, is a very difficult thing to do. If the moon’s crescent was not seen on the 30th day, the new moon was automatically celebrated on the 31st day.

For this reason, Yom Teruah is always celebrated for two days. These two days are celebrated as though it is just one long day of forty-eight hours. The reason that it is celebrated for two days is because if they waited to start the celebration until after the new moon had been sanctified, they would have missed half the celebration because the new moon can only be sanctified during daylight hours. The command seems to be that we know the season, but not the day or the hour (Matthew 24:32-36).

Yom Teruah, or the Feast of Trumpets, is the only feast that we do not know the day in which to keep it. Therefore, we have to be on the alert and watch for it.

Teruah means “an awakening blast”. A theme associated with Rosh.

HaShanah is the theme “to awake”. Teruah is also translated as “shout”.

The book of Isaiah, chapter 12, puts the shouting in the context of the thousand-year reign of Jesus. The Messianic era and shout is mentioned in Isaiah 44:23 and Zephaniah 3:14. The first coming of Christ is associated with a shout in Zechariah 9:9. The ultimate shout is the Rapture in First Thessalonians 4:16-17.

Whether it is by the blast of a shofar or the force of a supernatural shout, God’s goal is to awaken us. “...Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” – Ephesians 5:14.

The book of Ephesians has many references to Rosh HaShanah and the high Holy Days. For example, in Ephesians 4:30, being sealed unto the day of redemption refers to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. God gave this festival to teach us that we will be judged on Rosh HaShanah and will be sealed unto the closing of the gates on Yom Kippur.

The theme of awakening from sleep is used throughout the Bible. It is found in John 11:11, Romans 13:11, Daniel 12:1-2 and Psalm 78:65.

The shofar was also blown at the temple to begin the Sabbath each week. There are two types of trumpets used in the Bible:

1. The silver trumpet
2. The shofar or ram’s horn

Each sabbath, two men with silver trumpets and a man with a shofar made three trumpet blasts twice during the day. On Rosh HaShanah, it is different. The shofar is the primary trumpet. On Rosh HaShanah, a shofar delivers the first blast, a silver trumpet the second, and then a shofar the third.

According to Leviticus 23:24 and Numbers 29:1, Rosh HaShanah is the day of the blowing of the trumpets.

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, in the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.” – Leviticus 23:24

“And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.” – Numbers 29:1

The trumpet used for this purpose is the ram’s horn, not trumpets made of metal as in Numbers Chapter 10.

Another name for Rosh HaShanah is ‘Yom HaDin’, the Day of Judgment. The righteous are separated and will be with God. This is known to us as the Rapture. The wicked will face the wrath of God during the tribulation period.

The shofar blown on Rosh HaShanah is known as the last trump, which the apostle Paul mentioned in First Thessalonians 4:16-17. At this time, the believers in Christ will escape the tribulation on earth and will be taken to Heaven in the Rapture along with the righteous who had died before this time.

The gates of Heaven are opened on Rosh HaShanah so the righteous nation may enter (Isaiah 26:2, Psalm 118:19-20). Because the gates of Heaven are understood to be open on Rosh HaShanah, this is further evidence that the Rapture of the believers in Christ will take place on Rosh HaShanah.

One of the reasons for blowing the shofar is to proclaim the resurrection of the dead. The resurrection of the dead will take place on Rosh HaShanah.

In First Corinthians 15:52, the apostle Paul tells us that the resurrection of the dead will be “at the last trump.” Earlier in First Corinthians 15:14, he wrote that without the Lord Jesus rising from the dead, our faith is in vain.

We cannot go to the Book of Revelation and say that the voice of the seventh angel (Revelation 11:15) is the last trump. In the first century, the last trump (shofar) meant a specific day in the year. In Judaism, there are three trumpets that have a name. They are the first trump, the last trump, and the great trump. Each one of these trumpets indicates a specific day in the Jewish year. The first trump is blown on the Feast of Pentecost (Exodus 19:19).

It proclaimed that God had betrothed Himself to Israel. The last trump is synonymous with Rosh HaShanah, according to Theodore Gaster in his book, Festivals of the Jewish Year, in his chapter on Rosh HaShanah. Herman Kieval also states the same thing in his book, The High Holy Days in the chapter on the shofar. The great trumpet is blown on Yom Kippur, which will herald the return of Jesus back to the earth (Matthew 24:31).

The first and last trump relate to the two horns of the ram, which according to Jewish tradition, was caught in the thicket on Mount Moriah when Abraham was ready to slay Isaac and offer him up as a burnt offering. This ram became the substitute for Isaac even as Jesus became the substitute for us and provided life for us through His death.

Rabbi Eliezer tells us in Pirkei Avot, that the left horn (first trump) was blown on Mount Sinai, and its right horn (the last trump) will be blown to herald the coming of the Lord for His Church.

Isaiah 18:3 and First Thessalonians 4:13-18 speak of the resurrection of the dead. First Thessalonians chapter 5 continues with the day of the Lord and the birthpangs of the Messiah. The festivals will, beyond a shadow of a doubt, tell you that the resurrection of the dead precedes the time of Jacob’s trouble (the Tribulation). First Thessalonians 4:16-17 says that the dead in Christ will rise first, and that the catching away of the believers will immediately follow.

The term ‘rapture’ comes from the Greek word ‘harpazo’, which means “to seize, catch away, catch up, pluck, pull, take by force” (1 Thessalonians 4;17). Isaiah 57:1-2 speaks clearly of the resurrection of the dead, the taking of the believers, and the hiding of the believers from the indignation (the tribulation). Zephaniah 1:14-18 and 2:2-3 tells about the terrible times during the day of the Lord, the birthpangs of the Messiah, and issues a decree to repent and turn to God before that day to be hid from that time.

Psalm 27:5 says the righteous will be hid in the time of trouble. Paul in Second Thessalonians 2:1 tells us, “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him.” The phrase “gathering together” comes from the Greek word ‘episunagoge’, which means “an assembly”.

The Feast of Trumpets, through careful study depicts nothing less than the return of Jesus Christ for His Church at the last trump, just before God pours His wrath and judgment on a sinful and Christ rejecting world

To summarize:

The Feast of Trumpets is when the “last trump” of the Rapture of 1 Cor. 15 is blown.

The Feast of Trumpets is known as the Wedding of the Messiah, and the Church is the Bride of Christ, and the Rapture is when the Church is caught up to heaven to be wed with Christ.

The Feast of Trumpets happens on the “new moon”, which is 29.5 days after the last one, meaning it might occur on the 29th or 30th day, nobody knows for sure.

The “Open Door” of the Rapture in Matt 25, and Rev 3, & Rev 4:1 is a symbol of the Feast of Trumpets. [Ezek 46:1] “Thus says the Lord GOD: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut on the six working days; but on the sabbath day it shall be opened and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.”

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.” (KJV)

We are told that the new moon and the Feasts of the Lord are a shadow of things to come in Col 2:16,17. Since the Feast of Trumpets is the only Feast of the Lord that falls on a new moon, we should take particular note.

There are seven Days of Awe in between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. These picture the seven years of tribulation. Atonement pictures Satan being defeated and cast away at the end of tribulation. If you add the two-day Trumpets Feast, and the Day of Atonement, the 7 Days of Awe are “ten days of tribulation” which might be referred to in Rev. 2:10.

In the Jewish Wedding, a marriage takes place over a period of time known as the “bridal week”. During the bridal week, the groom and bride have relations in the bridal chamber. At the end of the week, there is a marriage supper. Compare Judges 14, Rev. 19, and Genesis 29:22-28. This bridal week will be the tribulation week on earth, while the bride of Christ is in heaven.

In the Jewish Wedding, the groom comes for his bride without warning to take (seize / rapture) her away and into the bridal chamber for the bridal week at his father’s house.

The Feast of Trumpets is also known as the coronation of the Messiah, when he will start reigning as king, thus the beginning of the “Day of the Lord”, which includes the Tribulation.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

I'm not setting a day for the Rapture, or hour...I find it interesting, how many have come to compare and associate, the feast of trumpets, aka, Rosh Hashanah, as a possible time of the Rapture. Since Jesus fulfilled many of the other Jewish feasts, perhaps the Lord will fully this feast as well, hopefully, on one of these two days this Rosh Hashanah. Many have believe this in the past, and it wasn't God's perfect timing, therefore, we continued to watch.

Now, with so many prophecies coming to pass before our very eyes, Wars and rumors of wars. how can one deny we're living in the last seconds now. We have WW3 looming on the horizon with sabre rattlings, along with plaques like ebola, etc., earthquakes in divers places, and unusual weather patterns, all over the world.
We know without a doubt we are living at the very end...we know about these ends days written in scripture, which have come to pass and continue to do so to date.

We know this to be true because we have been watching, just like Jesus commanded us to do. Some of us like myself for have been watching for decades, and it's down to the wire now. We know that only the Pre-Tribulation Rapture has always been imminent, therefore, this event could take place any moment now. It could take place on this Jewish feast, as well, or does God have another day in mind. Who really knows the mind of God, for the Lord works in the most mysterious ways.

Therefore, it's time to share your thoughts, about the very possible Rapture, on next week coming.

Here's a thought that occured to me, in regards to the very first article at the top of the thread, I posted in regards to the Rapture on Rosh Hashanah.

This is most exciting, as we near Rosh Hashanah of September 25-26, 2014.

Since this article above is very compelling with scriptural and Jewish celebration facts, there is a excellent chance that this Rosh Hashanah on Sept. 25th could be our time of Departure via the Rapture with Jesus. This feast is celebrated for 2 days or one long day 48 hours as some call it.

What caught my attention was the follow:

The “Open Door” of the Rapture in Matt 25, and Rev 3, & Rev 4:1 is a symbol of the Feast of Trumpets.

Matthew 25 could possible refer to September, 25, 2014 Rosh Hashanah(Rapture)
There is an open door to heaven on that day as well as on Sept. 26, when the feast ends. Open door to Heaven, on a sabbath, and in a day of the new moon.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Hi Valerie!

I surely hope 'n' pray that our possible time here on earth is almost over, and that we'll soon be wisked away to our prepared heavenly home.

Rosh Hashanah, which begins next week of 09/24-25/2014 (which begins AFTER fall begins on the 23rd), certainly does look good to me too!!! Mind you, that neither am I date-setting either; I'm just bringing to your attention the Gregorian Calendar dates(s) of when RH begins. OK!?

We'll just have to keep waiting 'n' watching the skies for Jesus' return to taking us home with Him, won't we!?!

Maranatha!
Tammy

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Tammy,

Rosh Hashanah begins nightfall of Sept. 24 -25th is one day, 25th nightfall to Sept 26th, is considered the 2nd day. Like I mentioned before it's a 2 day event, but many celebrate it as a 1 long day of 48 hours.

Therefore, we don't know the exact day or hour, it occurs, because it depends when the new moon is sighted.

It would be awesome, if God has appointed this year's Rosh Hashanah, as our new beginning and the Rapture would occur during this period of time.

There's an excellent chance that the time has finally arrived; we'll just have to wait and see, what plans the Lord puts into motion.

In the meantime look up our redemption draws nigh!

Maranatha!

Valerie

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Valerie, Tammy,

I read something interesting the other day. The article was talking about what the Jewish custom is for the "Twinkling of an Eye". It is the very short time of twilight just as a new moon appears in the sky and right before the sun disappears. I'll try to find where I read this and post it here.

The twinkling of an eye and the last trump are mentioned in the same verse of the Bible which seems to be pointing straight to Rosh Hashanah as the perfect rapture time. (not setting dates but this is interesting)

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Where O Death is Your Victory?
…51Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.…

The Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah is known as the Wedding of the Messiah

John 2:1 scripture says

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee....

Why does the Holy Bible specifically say on the third day the wedding took place?

2 Peter 3:8

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Torah Calendar

Month 6
Spiritual Year 6000
Civil Year 5999
Year 7 in Shemittah Cycle 7

The Civil Year will change to 6000 years this Rosh Hashanah (2014) the beginning of the third day. Will there be a wedding on this third day? (third day since the time of Jesus on the Torah Calendar)http://www.torahcalendar.com/Calendar.asp?YM=Y2014M6

Not setting dates but all of this is very exciting!

See everyone in the clouds soon.

Maranatha,

Julie

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Since you asked for thoughts, I have a few.

Before this month began, I was thinking about Noah, how this is Noah's Second day.
Jesus is our ark. Both had an opening in the side.
The blood of Jesus which flowed out of His side made our Redemption possible.
Being IN Christ is being IN the Ark.

It was weighing on me that:
1) There is not 7 years left to fit a Trib of that span within. Both the Torah Calendar and the Jubilee cycle negate that (Jubilee #120- 6000yrs completed begins in 2016-2017)
2) It can't be 3,5 years because that would fall in the Spring for the 2nd Coming.
3) Noah was in the ark for a year, not 7 years.
Could it be that we will be gone a year? Then the 2nd Coming, a year later at the feast of Atonement?
4) Elvi Zapata put it on BlogTalk that he was told by Jesus, he leaves this yr.2014. JK, also on Blogtalk and youtube is getting repeated supernatural signs like: The End, Final, Over.

Everything is in place- the impostor is in the highest office, the false prophet (pope Francis) is here- in exactly the sequence the Bible shows- Beast one- the political leader, then Beast 2-the spiritual.
The natural comes first- then the spiritual.
The stockmarket is ready to implode, having reached Bubble stage a while ago. A perfect set-up.
After these thoughts, I came upon a website for Greg Stevenson who is an intercessor for Israel in Jerusalem full time. On his site, he has posted- Rapture, Rosh Hashanah 2014. http://www.forthepeaceofjerusalem.com/rapture-2014.html
Other stuff came in to me.
Most Christians will balk real hard to think we are in the Trib now. But usually, prophecy is not what we think until After it comes to pass.
I have a lot more to say but we can discuss it at the Wedding.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

We're not in the Tribulation, Mike; none of the conditions that will occur during the Trib are in place yet. We would be well into the judgments predicted in Revelation if we were, and at least a good chunk of the earth's population would be dying. What we're experiencing now are the birth pangs leading up to the Tribulation. Jesus will take us Home in the Rapture before the Trib begins. And when He does, we will be gone at least 7 years (depending on how long the Rapture and the confirmation of the peace treaty will last).

We can't use the Flood too literally; don't forget that only one small family survived to repopulate the earth in that judgment. That will not be the case when Jesus returns.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

We really do not know how many will survive the judgment of the trib and the final battale of armageddon. In Isaiah there is a verse that says that a man will become as rare (scarce) as fine gold. In other words, not many will be left at all. I am always amazed when I think of the story of Noah and the fact that the future of all mankind was hanging on the fate of eight people - EIGHT! That is a very small number.

Mike you make some good points but don't rely too much on either the Hebrew or Gregorian calendar because both have been subjected to much manipulation over the centuries. J.R.Church wrote an article a few years back showing the removal of 240 years off the Hebrew calendar and that is what was able to be learned after many years of research. There are two different rabbinical accounts of jubilee years so that is also flawed to an extent. We can't be sure by how much. Our true timekeeper, God, sees all of time at once and knows where every second, every minute will fall and what it will contain. We can trust Him to be right on time with every event.

The most important sign or signal from God in our lifetime is that of the blood moon tetrads. No man or demon or fallen angel can manipulate or falsify the signs in the moon and the sun. God is giving us a big flashing red light in the blood moons that the end is here and the tribulation is about to begin. We know the rapture is just before that so get ready for a grand exit, stage right.

P.S. J.R. Church did a historical timeline from Adam forward showing the two sets of jubilee years and other important events in his book, "Bloodline of the Antichrist". He researched those materials for over 30 years so you might say that book was his opus magnum. I have read it now at least three times and still not sure I grasp it all. Outstanding book and you can order it from the book store at the Prophecy In The News website. It is hard to believe that it has already been three years since he graduated to heaven in 2011. He so wanted to be alive on earth for the rapture. He will be included of course but will be resurrected with the dead in Christ and so he will go first, before us.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Somehow I knew my post would go over like a rat sandwich.

I referred to the Torah calendar (not the Gregorian or what the orthodox use today) http://www.torahcalendar.com/
As I said, the 120 Jubilee is in 2016- 2017.
That is the Grand Jubilee Rest of Heaven.
We shall see, won't we?

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

WE ARE NOT IN THE GREAT TRIBULATION YET

Some are teaching that we are in it, but What we are seeing in parts of the world - ISIS beheading people, Ebola pestilence, earthquakes, sin increasing etc - is classic end time signs called - BIRTH PAINS or as some translations put it `the beginning of sorrows`. As Jesus said in this period they would be seen in VARIOUS places , but in the Great Tribulation period they will be seen everywhere with no place of escape. That is a big difference.

For example beheadings are happening in Iraq and Syria, similar stuff in northern Nigeria and some other places, but far from everywhere, most places are very normal. Same with Ebola, same with earthquakes. In the Great Trib everyone on the planet will be forced to take the mark of the beast or be beheaded, judgments will strike all over the world, terrible events everywhere, a time worse than any time ever before (scripture states) , we have never seen the likes yet anywhere to compare to the Horror. Take heed.

So right now, see the signs, prepare yourself, be faithful and fruitful, win souls, serve God at every opportunity, fill your lamp, worship and pray, live holy, the time is soon but no one knows exactly when. The next major events that are coming soon, in order, are:
--> Increasing birth pains
--> RAPTURE for the faithful christians only
--> unfaithful christians and the ungodly left behind to suffer tremendous persecution
--> then 7 years of Great Tribulation with terrible woe, rule of the antichrist
--> then the Second Coming of Christ
--> then the 1000 years reign of Christ on this Earth , with a quick rebellion at the end
--> then the Great White Throne of Judgment
--> then God and redeemed man living together in the New Jerusalem & the new earth forever and ever, glory to God !!!
-- Matt 24, 4-8 ... And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows (birth pains)."

-- Matt 24, 40-44 -- (DONT BE LEFT BEHIND)) Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

-- Matt 25, 10-13 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

As I am entering this into my computer, we are down to the two week marker, with September 24-26 being just two weeks away. I just haven't had the time to do a post with the over 200 passages of Scripture that speak to the "Theme of Deliverance" before Judgment. This is from other previous studies that I have done over the past decade. I'll keep them ready if I have time to get in another post before the Feast of Trumpets, but I can promise. My days are passing by at an unbelievable clip. I'm up at five, and rarely get to bed before midnight.

Over the past 4 months I have given it my best as a defender of the faith to refute the arguments contrary to a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and it suddenly dawned on me as I was drafting a reply to another Dove inquiry I received this past Sunday, that I had not done a post on why we can be confident in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, if not this Feast of Trumpet, perhaps next year.

The Pre-Trib position is not a cardinal doctrine of Scripture; however, but if one reads the Bible from the Dispensational view, a literal plain sense reading of the Word you will find a pretty strong case to believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. In my previous posts I have examined this position from a variety of perspectives and approaches, hoping to strengthen the reader's minds to recognize that we have lots of reasons for our hope doing so. I have been convinced of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture for twenty-six years. It is interesting to say the least, but before that when I was marching to the tune of the United Methodist Covenant/Reform theology treating the text as if it was one giant book of an allegorical mish-mash approach, none of it really made much sense, i.e., the prophets especially. I began to get a new perspective as a result of Zola Levitt, Chuck Missler, and Grant Jeffrey. Their programs, videos, books, began to question the framework of hermeneutics that I had been taught in twelve years of higher education. The metamorphosis for me was painful. When I came into contact with Dr. Arnold Fruechtenbaum, it was as if being struck by lightning. Suddenly, I began to realize that I had been deceived by Covenant/Reformed theology-based schools.

So when I post here on Five Doves, it is from a position of a repented believer. None of the other positions regarding a Biblical Rapture make sense, they are not cohesive, they don't have a coherent Biblical construct.
Logically the other positions present far more questions than they provide intelligent answers. The Bible was a mishmash of unrelated things and stories, a hodgepodge of a patch-quilt fables. With that in mind, let's take a look at the logical aspect of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

1. The Pre-Tribulational view offers the most logical interpretation of the Second-Coming of the Lord's Scriptures when they are taken for their plain, literal meaning. Indeed, the late John Walvoord, once said, "The only view that interprets prophecy literally and consistently is that of the Pre-Tribulational Pre-Millennial position". The Pre-Tribulational position has a logical explanation of every Second-Coming passage. Other views do not unless they discard literal interpretation at least one or more points.

2. Both Jesus and the apostle Paul promised believers they would be saved from the "wrath to come" -(Matthew 3:7; Luke 3:7; 1st Thessalonians 1:10 and kept from "the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the Earth." -(Revelation 3:10). Such a "trial" has not yet occurred. Paul gave the same promise in Romans 5:9 and 1st Thessalonians 5:9. All the other viewpoints contradict these Scriptures by stating that at least a portion of the Church will experience all or some of the Tribulation period.

3. The Pre-Tribulational position clearly and logically untangles the details of Christ's second coming. This was illustrated in the post on the difference between the Rapture and the Second-Coming. On one point I left off a verse reference on that chart because there isn't a verse, it is deduced by logic.

My nemesis Jovial is what we know as a classical sophist. Permit me to explain: Sophistry is a rhetorical art form which relies upon ingenuity, fallacies and specious effectiveness rather than soundness of argument. A 'sophist' in the modern day sense of the word is therefore a person who debates adroitly but reasons superficially. In some cases, sophistry is used to cover up one's underlying ignorance of the subject matter. Other times, the purpose of sophistry is to deliberately mislead. This adequately describes the "Pre-Wrath-Rapture-Babble" site. If I hadn't had some background in philosophical logic and debate, I would have been paralyzed because it is virtually a waste of time to debate a person who uses sophistry. You will go crackers as my classmates in seminary often said. This is precisely what the folks at the "Pre-Wrath-Rapture-Babble" site do by posting bizarre stupid nonsense.

To continue my point, the Rapture is a movement of the Church from Earth to Heaven and is in sharp contrast to the Church's return with Christ Jesus at the Second Coming, which occurs more than seven years later as a movement from Heaven to Earth. The book of Revelation and 2nd Thessalonians 2 clarify what takes place between these two events.

4. The Pre-Tribulatonal Rapture position is the only view that makes a clear distinction between Israel and the Church. The lack of a proper understanding of the relationship between Israel and the Church in prophecy is one of the major causes of confusion in the teachings of amillennialism and postribulationalism.

The Church was born in Acts 2 on the Day of Pentecost. We know this because the Church is the body of Christ -(1st Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 5:23; and Colossians 1:18), believers become part of the body of Christ through baptism with the Spirit -(1st Corinthians 12:13), and Spirit baptism commenced when the Holy Spirit came upon believers on the Day of Pentecost -(Acts 1:4-5; 2:1-4; 11:15-16).

The Church was a "mystery" (it was not revealed) in the Old Testament -(Ephesians 3:3-5, 9; Colossians 1:26-27). Furthermore, the Church could not have come into existence until Jesus Christ died -(to provide atonement - Matthew 16:18-21), rose again -(Ephesians 1:20-23), and ascended to heaven -(Ephesians 4:7-11). In fact, the Holy Spirit was not provided for believers until after the Christs ascension -(John 16:7-13).

The apostle Paul calls the Church "one new man" composed of Jews and Gentiles -(Ephesians 2:15) - a completely new entity. It is distinguished from both Israel and the Gentiles, composed of members from both groups, and identified as the "church" and "one body" -(Ephesians 2:16; 3:6). First Corinthians 10:42 distinguishes the Church from both Israel and the Gentiles.

Also, the name Israel is never used of the Church. In the New Testament, it refers either to Jews in general or Jewish believers in particular. The reference to the "Israel of God" in Galatians 6:16, so often taken by amillennialists as a synonym for the Church, in fact refers only to Jewish believers in Christ.

In summary, there is no evidence that the Church began before Acts 2, and much evidence that it began at that time as a new entity in the program of God. Therefore it must be kept distinct from Israel, and a Pre-Tribulational understanding of the Rapture is the only means of doing this.

5. Pre-Tribulationalism is the only view that makes "the blessed hope" -(Titus 2:13) truly a blessed hope. Few doctrines in the Bible have brought more hope to grieving and persecuted souls during the past 2,000 years than the doctrine of this blessed hope, which is the teaching that Christ Jesus will return for His Church, resurrect the dead, and transport living believers to be with Himself while the world endures the Tribulation. The Mid-
Tribulational position destroys that hope by forcing Christians to anticipate the trauma of at least part of the
Tribulation. Post-Tribulationalism further destroys the hope by propelling Christians through the entire Tribulation period. No proper reading of Bible prophecy gives credence to the idea that the Church will be on Earth during that seven-year period. The judgments pictured in Revelation is clearly intended for Israel and the unbelieving world.

6. Pre-Tribulationalism allows sufficient time for important end-time events to occur. Christ Jesus will take Christians to His Father's house and reward them at the judgment seat of Christ -(Romans 14:12). The marriage of the bride of Christ in Heaven occurs before He comes "with power and great glory" to the Earth -(Matthew 24:30; Luke 21:27). Other viewpoints are all too brief to allow time for the important events listed in Revelation.

7. Only the Pre-Tribulational view preserves the motivating power of the imminent return of Christ Jesus. In John 14:1-3; Acts 1:11; 1st Corinthians 15:51-52; Philippians 3:20; Colossians 3:4; and many other passages, the apostles taught that Christ Jesus could come at any moment. When the Church loses this anticipation, it tends to become carnal and spiritually dead.

8. Pre-Tribulational Christians are looking for the coming of the Lord. In other views, Christians are awaiting the Tribulation, the Antichrist, and great suffering. In fact, only the Rapture could occur as soon as today. The glorious appearing of Christ Jesus (Second Coming) cannot occur for at least seven or more years.

9. Pre-Tribulationism emphasizes that magnitude of the Rapture. At least four passages of Scripture describes the Rapture, so it must be a significant event. The post-tribulational view trivializes the Rapture, treating it as a quick trip up and right back down. The Pre-Tribulational view treats it as a dignified, blessed event commensurate with a heavenly bridegroom who comes to take His bride to His Father's house for their wedding.

10. Pre-Tribulationism most clearly fits the flow of the books of Revelation -(Revelation 4:1-2). Further, this view explains why the Church is so central in the first three chapters of Revelation but then disappears and is not mentioned again until Revelation 18:24. Pre-Tribulationists insist that the Church has already been Raptured before the events of Revelation 4-18. Other views try hard to find the Church in the Tribulation even though she is not mentioned in these chapters.

11. Pre-Tribulationism preserves the credibility of Christ Jesus' Word that Christians will be kept from the Tribulation. It is the only view that resolves the contrasting difficulties of Revelation 3:10 and 7:4.

12. The purpose of the Tribulation is not to prepare the Church for glory but rather to prepare Israel for restoration in God's program. See Deuteronomy 4:29-30 and Jeremiah 30:4-11.

13. The Rapture of the Church is not mentioned in any passage describing the coming of Christ Jesus following the Tribulation.

14. None of the Bible passages describing the Tribulation mentions the Church -(See Jeremiah 30:4-11; Daniel 9:24-27; 12:1-2; Matthew 24:15-31; Revelation 4-19).

15. The Church has not been appointed to wrath -(Romans 5:9; 1st Thessalonians 1:9-10; 5:9; Revelation 6:17).

16. When the Church is Raptured, believers will go to the Father's house in Heaven -(John 14:3). They will not immediately return to the Earth, as post-tribulationism teaches.

17. The exhortation in Titus 2:13 to look for Christ's return as a blessed hope is misleading if the Tribulation must come first. Believers would need to look for signs instead. On the contrary, the Church is always exhorted to look for the Lord's coming. In the Tribulation, however, believers are told to look for signs -(Matthew 24).

18. According to Old Testament texts, living Tribulation saints are not translated and glorified at Christ's Second Coming. They continue earthly human lives and occupations, including having children and raising crops -(Isaiah 65:20-25). If all saints are translated and glorified (as described by the Rapture) at Christ's Second Coming to the Earth, this would be impossible. In addition, the separation of the "sheep" and "goats" described by Jesus in Matthew 25:32 would be unnecessary because it would already have occurred at the Rapture before He even set up His throne of judgment -(Matthew 25:31).

19, God has often delivered believers (including Noah, Lot, and Rahab) before punishing the world for sin -(see 2nd Peter 2:6-9).

20. Jesus mentions the possibility of believers escaping the Tribulation in Luke 21:36.

21. Almost all scholars acknowledge that the early church believe in the imminence of Christ Jesus' return, which logically leads to Pre-Tribulationism.

22. God's Master Plan is only effectively understood through Dispensationalism. The New is in the Old concealed, the Old is in the New revealed. The focus of God's dealing with man changed with the introduction of a Savior, a God/Man Atonement versus an unblemished lamb. God's righteousness and holiness did not change, but how God chose to deal with and reconcile the issue of man's sin becomes central to our understanding of Law vs. Grace. Grace is the "operative" word in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture framework of the Church! Many people do not like the idea of God changing His plan and that's why they live in the Old Testament. I prefer to thank God that He had a 'Plan B' in His Master Plan for dealing with humanity. Our attitude should always be gratitude in the matter of one's salvation.

As you can see here, many of these points depend on a logical analysis of comparing Scripture, line upon line, precept upon precept, her a little, there a little. A reading of the passages of Isaiah 28:10 and 28:13 along with Proverbs 25:2 motivated me many years ago to seek out the deeper insights in the logical and objective conclusions that are to be fleshed out by comprehensive study, analysis, and looked at in the total context of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and the Second Coming. Gleaning, gathering, and "Mining the Diamonds and Nuggets" of God's Word has been my wonderful joy for now over fifty years.

Blessings to all of you as we anticipate the call of the trumpet!

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

No true Christian will be left behind, and thank the Lord for that! Only the lost will be left behind to endure God's wrath. We, the Church, all have to stand before the judgment seat of Christ to have our works evaluated, which can only take place if we're all in Heaven to undergo that judgment. (I wonder if the Bema judgment will be finished when Jesus opens the first seal.)

And with that said, Valerie, it is so true--we're not in the Trib yet! It's the birth pangs that we're undergoing now, not the Tribulation judgments. And when the Tribulation does start, the entire Body of Christ is going to be in Heaven with Jesus. We will not be here, any of us.

Mike, you made me laugh with that rat sandwich remark! I had not heard that one before. I am so sorry that I misunderstood what you were saying. Sometimes I read too fast and think I got it when I didn't. I am not familiar with the Torah calendar but will sure check it out since you gave a link for it.

Charles Capps taught on the 120 Jubilees making up the 6000 years or "6 Days" of history so I was familiar with that concept and agree with it. It seems like we are in the beginnings of the 7th day according to what all the calendars are showing but again, there could be some historical discrepancies throwing everything off a bit.

One thing is sure - we are closer than anyone has ever been to the final countdown. It is so easy to see all the players in their places ready for that last act before the curtain comes down. It's kind of nerve-wracking really, just waiting for someone to pull the trigger.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Well this week, is the upcoming Rosh Hashanah Sept. 25-26; many believe the timing of the Rapture for this year. I really don't know for certain, but I really hope that is the case. However, I'm still watching each and everyday, even beforehand, because, there really doesn't have to be any sign before the Rapture, because it is imminent.

Keep watching, look up our redemption draws nigh. We don't know what day God has set in mind for the day of the Rapture, but we know, that the Great Tribulation is very close now, and the Pre Tribulation Rapture happens beforehand, therefore, our time must be extremely short now.

This is going to be an interesting week, that's for certain, with all that is happening around the world, pointing to Jesus' coming at the Rapture.

Watching, waiting, and praying with everyone here, for God to give Jesus, the go ahead and get your Bride Son, at any moment.

God Bless,

Maranatha!

Tonight is the eve the beginning of the Feast of Rosh Hashanah, which could very well be the timing of the Rapture. It's all in God's plan and perfect timing, we'll have to wait on the Lord, and let His will be done, not ours.

Praying the time has finally arrived. Praying for God to give us His peace that surpasses all understanding, as we continue to watch, for the Lord's coming at the Rapture.

I believe the Rapture is imminent, and I hope to meet each one of you, when we arrive to Heaven.

I thank God, for His help, in keeping this site up for those who have come to post and read. I'm thankful for the help we received from Kathy & Susan, for moderating the site; and all the wonderful members for contributing in friendly fellowship, with one another, sharing, thoughts, while watching for the coming of our Lord Jesus. May everyone's rewards in Heaven been many.

Thanks be to God, for His guidance, comfort, teaching us from His word, and for commanding us to watch, so that we wouldn't be taken unaware, of what is happening around us, and to know the season of the Lord's coming. Jesus is assuring us, of His promise to return, and will take us to Heaven where the Lord, has prepared a place for each one of us.

I thank God for being patient with me, and for loving and helping me, throughout all these years. I couldn't have done it without the Lord's guidance and assistance. My prayer is that many souls have been won to His Kingdom, from Rapture Flight to Heaven. May God always receive, All Honor & Glory rightfully belongs to the Lord, in all things regarding to His work being done here on Earth through His servants. I humbly thank God for using me as one of the many of His vessels here on Earth, for His purposes, and plan. Thanks be to God!!!

Look up, Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, our redemption draws near!

How Farmers in Israel Are Preparing for a Rare Biblical Event That Starts This Week

HAIFA, Israel — Many Israeli farmers have spent months preparing for a biblically mandated event that comes just once every seven years, in which fields and orchards managed by Jews in the Holy Land must lie fallow for the entire year.

It is known in Hebrew as Shmita, or the sabbatical year, and it begins Wednesday with the start of Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year.

One such farmer is Rony Rosenzweig of Kibbutz Lavi, a religious cooperative community near Tiberias in the northern Galilee region.

“Shmita offers us a lot of challenges that we have to face. Our local rabbi guides us as to what we are and aren’t allowed to do,” Rosenzweig told TheBlaze.

Among the rules that present a unique challenge to the work of his community: “Don’t plant crops, don’t lay new grass, just take care of what exists, don’t add anything new.”

The sabbatical year is mentioned several times in the Bible, starting with Exodus 23:10-11 in which the Israelites are told: “For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what is left. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.”

According to the Bible, Jews in the land of Israel are prohibited from working their fields, including planting, pruning or harvesting crops, nor can they buy or sell the fruits of their labor. Maintenance work like watering and fertilizing is permitted, and whatever the land yields without human intervention during the year may be eaten.

To allay the concerns of those worried the food might run out, God said in Leviticus 25 that he will bless the land and provide enough sustenance in the sixth year to “yield enough for three years.”

For Kibbutz Lavi, like other farming communities, the challenge has been how to abide by the biblical mandate while at the same time support themselves. To do so, the community divides its fields — which grow wheat, corn, barley, chickpeas and hold citrus orchards — into three categories.

Today, September 25th, is a Happy New Year, for the Jewish people, as they celebrate
Rosh Hashanah; praying it will be the Day the Lord has chosen for the Rapture of the Bride. We'll wait patiently, peacefully, upon the Lord, knowing God has our best interest in mind; especially for the bride of Jesus.

Happy New Year to the Jewish people, although many of them sense, unease, with so many things happening in the news with their nation and other nations of the world.

Lord, let thy will be done accordingly unto your servants, who wait upon your Holy Word, made Flesh, to come and take us where the Lord has prepared a place for us. Amen.

Rosh Hashana in Israel. September 24-26, 2014.

Rosh Hashana in Israel is one of the most special times of the year! Happy new year! Jewish New Year is called Rosh Hashana and usually falls during September or early October. Rosh Hashana is a two day holiday and businesses across Israel will be closed on both days so bear this in mind if you are in Israel during the period. In 2014, Rosh Hashana will begin at sundown on Wednesday 24 September, and end at sundown on Friday 26 September. In many ways, being in Israel during Rosh Hashana is like Shabbat where most businesses are closed.

Being in Israel during Rosh Hashana

If you are in Israel during the Rosh Hashana period, visiting a synagogue to hear the prayers is an amazing experience. Jews attend quite lengthy synagogue services, and recite special prayers and liturgical songs written over the centuries which vary between Jews who have developed different prayers based on where they were living for hundreds of years. The blowing of the shofar (ram’s horn) is an iconic symbol of Rosh Hashana – 100 (or 101) shofar blasts are sounded in the synagogue to symbolize God’s sovereignty over the world, to remind Jews of the giving of the commandments on Mt. Sinai, of Abraham and Isaac’s devotion to God, to arouse people to repentance and to herald the Day of Judgment and the coming of the Messiah.

Symbols of Rosh Hashana in Israel

Other symbols of Rosh Hashana include apple and honey customarily eaten as well as other sweet foods to symbolize a sweet new year. Tashlich is a custom carried out on Rosh Hashanah afternoon where Jews to walk to a river, lakeshore or other open body of water, to shake out one’s pockets and symbolically cast one’s sins into the water. If you come to Israel during this period, it is interesting to see religious Jews performing this custom.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

We are awaiting the "last trump" which is the voice of God, to resurrect the dead in Christ first, and then we who are alive in Christ, will be caught up together with them, to meet the Lord in the air.

The Book of 1st Thessalonians: Chapter 4, Verses 15-16 (1st Thessalonians 4:15-16)

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The last trump is the voice of God and not that of an angel. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51.52).

This is also the time that the dead are judged out the Book. “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (John 12:48). The last trumpet is the resurrection trumpet of God when all saints are changed in a moment, in the time of a splitting of an atom.

Love those videos. So sad about the three boys who were killed. What a beautiful mother to be such a blessing to a nation while her heart is breaking.

May Israel have a beautiful, peaceful and prosperous New Year! Happy Rosh Hashanah! Torah Calendar says it is Rosh Hashana of the year 6000.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Julie,

"May Israel have a beautiful, peaceful and prosperous New Year! Happy Rosh Hashanah!"

Your words are my exact thoughts and sentiments for the Jewish people and nation as well. Praying for the peace of Israel, especially Jerusalem, and praying for Jesus
to come anytime now to take His bride home, at long last.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus,

The Rapture did not take place on Rosh Hashanah as some had thought, and it's hard to even imagine, that this would be the only time the Rapture could happen. When you think about it, that certain wouldn't make the Rapture imminent, however, it certainly always was and is to this day. This would also mean we would have to wait until next year Rosh Hashanah 2015. There are many good reasons, that those who have done research on this feast, that the Rapture would take place on that Feast day, if God is fulfilling, each one in order. However, what if, the Lord has different plans in mind for that date.

We'll just have to wait on God's perfect timing. My heart is still hopeful for the Rapture sometime this year; perhaps the Lord has a different period of time in mind that we had thought to be. We all know that God works in most mysterious ways. For His thoughts are higher than ours.

We know the Rapture is imminent, we know, that it is closer than ever before, we know that Jesus promised to come and take us where He has prepared a place for us; so we have a lot going for us. We have been watching, the signs of the times, and prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes; therefore we know without a doubt that the Rapture will come to pass, as it is written in scripture.

For when we LEAST EXPECT IT, Jesus will come!

Keep watching, our redemption draws near!

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Guess we'd better stop expecting it, then! Otherwise, we could be stuck waiting forever.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

I will, like our Valerie suggests, and that is to...

KEEP WATCHING, FOR OUR REDEMPTION IS EDGING CLOSER 'N' NEARER THAN WE THINK!!!

And yes--it will happen when we least expect it to.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Kathy, & Tammy,

This is no time to give up watching, as like I said many times before, Jesus COMMANDED us to watch, so we wouldn't be unaware of the closeness of His Coming.

MOST people EXPECT the Rapture to take place on a Jewish Feast Day...therefore, that's when Jesus is MOST EXPECTED TO COME.

However, MOST DO NOT EXPECT Jesus to come on a ordinary regular day, this is when many LEAST EXPECT JESUS TO COME; AND THIS COULD VERY WELL TURN OUT TO BE A DAY THE LORD HAS CHOSEN...THEREFORE, LOOK UP, OUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH, AND SINCE WE LEAST EXPECT IT TO HAPPEN NOW; THAT'S WHEN IT VERY WELL COULD HAPPEN...SURPRISE!!!

THIS IS WHY, WE SHOULD CONTINUE TO WATCH, BECAUSE, JESUS TOLD US TO DO SO.

THE RAPTURE IS CLOSER THAN EVER BEFORE, WITH SO MANY BIBLE PROPHECIES COMING TO PASS

THERE IS ALSO A WATCHERS CROWN, AWAITING THOSE, WHO DON'T GIVE UP THE WATCH...!

JESUS ALSO TOLD US TO COMFORT ONE ANOTHER, WITH THE WORDS OF HIS COMING!

MARANATHA!

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Well, everyone, there is another train of thought that the rapture won't happen until the "fullness of the gentiles comes in" according to Romans 11:25:

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Since the rapture didn't come on this Rosh Hashanna, I am looking for it to come anytime between now and next Rosh Hashanna in 2015. Personally, I have always thought that the rapture would take place on a Rosh Hashanna, simply because I am looking for the Lord to fulfill the Fall Feasts like He did on the Spring ones. But we can't put God in a box, either. So if we have to wait for a certain number of the Gentiles to be saved before He returns, that means He could come at any time.

Valerie is right, never give up! Just look at what's happening in the world now! Escalation of wars, earthquakes, immorality, the rise of ISIS, and so on. It can't be long now!!

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

I believe you're right about the Jewish festivals, Valerie. That's why I didn't really expect the Rapture to take place during Rosh Hashana. When it does occur, it'll probably do so on an ordinary day. Hey, it might even take place on Christmas Day! =)

Time will tell whether it happens this year or not. If it doesn't, then we'll have to start looking to next year.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Good morning to all, God bless you with peace
Every day we hope for the Lord because we know that this world will not be in peace and set right until He is ruling over all down here. We long to be with Him because we love Him and we know that is better

A couple thoughts, about the fullness of the Gentiles. It seems the two witnesses are killed mid trib, that the ac commits the aod and the Jewish people flee following the death of the two witnesses. I may be wrong, but the fullness of the gentiles may not be until the time in Revelation when it says that the people do not repent. Does this mean the church is not raptured until then? No. From scripture, I believe in a pre tribulation rapture. What I'm saying is that the rapture may not be tied to this fullness of Gentiles verse. The verse may refer to when the Jewish people finally have their eyes opened that the God of Abraham did indeed send Jesus as sacrifice for their sins and that He is indeed the Son of God.
This revelation to them may not happen until the two witnesses are killed and raised. We know that Jews will believe earlier than that, because of verse about 144,ooo. There are gentile martyrs for Jesus who refuse the mark, who refuse to worship the beast. People will come to belief in Jesus after the rapture. Please do not despair about the "fullness of the Gentiles" and timing. Take this to the Lord, read the word, pray & ask God about it. I am not a prophet, but do believe that the fullness of the Gentiles is not the same as timing of the rapture.

I would love for the Lord Jesus to arrive in the sky for us today. In agreement that the Lord could come on a feast day for rapture, but fulfilling the "fall feasts" may happen at His second coming, when He comes back to earth. The time when He resurrects the dead who have believed in Him, the children and living believers, He is in the sky, not touched down to earth. When people get married, they have a wedding day planned, do they not? Are we more organized than God? of course not, ROFL, we are pathetic planners compared to God. God has the wedding plans for Jesus planned. Jesus would not ignore events about His own wedding. There is in fact a time on God's calendar. We are tick tick ticking away to that wonderful time. So keep looking for Him, keep ready in your hearts for Him and each day until He catches us up to be where He is, the Holy Spirit will be with us and we are not alone.

Love to you all. I haven't written a lot as I was gone for days, now sick for a week, hoping each day too that the Lord will arrive. He will, when the time planned by God from the foundation of the world arrives.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Mike T, I agree with you, Jesus is our Ark. He is the way back to the Father following the fall in Eden when Adam and Eve could no longer be in that paradise with God. Jesus takes away our sin by giving His own body, His own blood to atone for our sin. When we accept Jesus offer to pay our sin debt, we are saved for eternity in Him. We can go back to where God dwells because of Jesus.

Jesus is the Ark of the covenant also, as the everlasting covenant of peace between God the Father and us is made possible in Jesus giving His own body for us. He lived a sin free life, keeping His own body acceptable to God, then gave His sin free body for us, taking brutal punishment, and brutal death to atone for our sin. A sacrifice of His sinless self that was infinitely more valuable to God the Father than any animal sacrifice. Jesus own blood shed for us covers our sin debt from birth to death. Jesus as God in the flesh knew the law, fulfilled the law, He gave life as Aaron's rod budded, Jesus gave resurrected life to Lazarus and others and rose from the dead. When Moses smote the rock and water came forth, Jesus side was pierced and water came forth along with blood when he was on the cross. Wood was arranged for an animal sacrificed to be put upon, Jesus was given for us upon a wooden cross.
In so many ways, more than written here, Jesus is our ark of safety, the way to eternal life, the provider of our lives.

Come back soon Lord Jesus. Abba Father, remember Your covenant with Abraham today. Look upon Israel, how the nations are foaming at the mouth to do away with national Israel. They long to take Jerusalem for their own plans. They would swarm the nation and scheme political intrigue to control not only Israel but surrounding land for their own wealth, their own glory. Please send Your angel armies to defend Jerusalem. Please take back all the land that ever was Eden and all the land that You ever intended for Jacob's descendants and defend these boundaries by Your word and power. This task is too great for us, Abba. No army of Israel is able to do this alone. We need You. Israel needs You. Please have the believers and children gathered soon to meet Jesus in the air and cause the boundaries that You declare for Israel and Eden to be defended, I ask You please, for Your glory and plans, coming to You mighty God of all heaven in the name of Jesus, amen.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Valerie. Good Post. Nobody knows when our Lord will come but we will be going home some time in 2015. In looking at this post, it was such a joy to see fellow Christians give their thoughts and how excited they were on the nearness of the Lord. We have been in this evil world so long and heard nothing but negatives on the world situation that it can become depressing. However now is our time to look up for our redemption drawth near. We are joyful and many people do not know why. We have been watching, waiting and occupying till the return of the Lord and we wait in great anticipation of the BLESSED HOPE. Many of us have been studding our Bibles for years because we love the Lord and He teaches us the ways of righteousness. It is like God gave us our homework and we passed only because of HIM and now we will enter His Kingdom and serve a perfect God with a perfect heart because we will be in our glorified bodies.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

To everyone,

Has anyone ever heard of the ancient harvest of Israel? Barley Harvest, Wheat Harvest, & Grape Harvest?

Perry Stone has an excellent teaching on these three harvest. The Barley is thrown into the air with a winnowing fork or placed in a sheet and four corners were held and shook up into the air to get it ready to harvest, because it is tender and doesn't take much to separate the chaff from the grain. When wheat is ready for harvest it is very hard, and it takes a tribulum board to crush it and separate the wheat from the chaff. Grapes are pressed in a wine press which is when the blood of the grape is separated from the skin and the seeds.

There were three harvest times in ancient Israel. The Barley was the first to be harvested (first fruits), the wheat was after the barley harvest, (tribulation believers hence the tribulum board), the grapes are the last of the harvest of ancient Israel, the blood of grapes in the wine press of the Lord, (blood up to the horses bridal when Jesus returns to earth.)

Maybe there are more than one harvest of souls? The two witnesses are harvested to heaven, so are the 150,000 thousand. So there are two harvest with just these two groups. With God all things are possible, he does mention a Barley Harvest in the book of Ruth. When Boaz sees Ruth she is in a barley field. Boaz watched over Ruth and she became his bride. Flax and Barley are mentioned in the Bible together and flax is what linen is made out of. Aren't we going to be dressed in fine linen? To make this fine linen the flax and the barley would have to be ripe.

Of course this is all just mere speculation, but Jesus spoke of harvests a lot and Revelation mentions the great wine press of the Lord.

When the grapes are ready...

Revelation 14:20

New International Version: They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a ...

Thankfully we as barley will not be a part of the grapes going into the wine press and maybe not even the tribulum board (tribulation) for the wheat?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.

Maranatha,

Julie

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

We most definitely won't be entering the Tribulation--we'll be in Heaven when that starts! So that leaves only the future Tribulation believers to be the wheat harvest, so to speak.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

I agree Kathy, that just leaves the Barley Harvest. So we must be the barley that the reapers throw up into the air to separate the chaff off of us.

Maranatha,

Julie

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Sounds good to me!

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

when John heard "come up hither" in Revelation, we believe that is when the dead in Christ and those who believe in Jesus and are alive are caught up in the air to heaven

When the two witnesses are killed, and 3 days later it is said "come up hither", this is mid trib time. perhaps the dead in Jesus up to that point and those who believe in Jesus at that point also "come up hither". that would leave unbelievers on earth during the last half of the trib, and the Jewish people whom are sheltered (who will come to realize Jesus is the Son of God, sent by God as the Savior and King)

A time comes when the bible says people do not repent. Until then, there will be a lot of new believers who perish because of world conditions. I hope the "come up hither" that the two witnesses hear does indeed include dead in Christ since the rapture and alive believers. The Lord Jesus knows, and He knows who are His own.

Thanks, Regina. This is a different perspective that what I learned about what the fullness of the Gentiles meant. I really appreciate your taking the time to write all this out for me, sis. I will study what you said and pray about it.

I'm going by what Jack Kelly teaches about the fullness of the Gentiles:

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

I have seen some reports where the writer says that the "fullness of the gentiles(nations)" occurred in 1967 with the 6 day war and Israel's recapture of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is now again Jewish real estate - no longer trampled down by the "gentiles" or controlled by them. That is what all the hubbub is about - the nations want to take back the city where God said "I will put My NAME there". The devil always comes to steal what belongs to God in order to desecrate and destroy it. He is furious that he lost his grip on the holy city and that is what the battles are about. The so-called newly formed islamic caliphate has declared it will take Jerusalem. If we don't see this attempt before the rapture I sure do want a front row seat in heaven to watch them try it. Jerusalem now is that burdensome stone for the gentiles and all who try to handle it will end up cut up by it.

Re: THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANAH

Thanks, Texas Sue! I've never heard that explanation. That makes sense also. I wish the Bible would have expounded on that with more detail. It's like what Jesus said that "no one knows the day or hour". Was He talking about the rapture or His second coming? I've heard arguments on both sides. Now this is the third explanation I've heard about the fullness of the gentiles. I just don't know. I will need to seek the Lord for wisdom.
