1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
Texas Sue, and everyone, someone sent me an email, and said, that it's only the media
using "fear mongering" to use to their advantage against people.
Now this may be true, however, how is one suppose to know what is true in the media
and what is simple speculation for sensualism to sell their news; make more money,
ratings etc., I really don't know.
However, what I do know, there is much happening around the world, and since 9 11 happened, which no one expected, we take everything more seriously, threats and news reports from sources we consider reliable. We must be on watch and vigilant...and no matter where anyone lives in the US or Canada etc., there is no absolute safe place, therefore, we need to rely on supernatural intervention from God on our behalf. The Bible is filled with like protection & provision the Lord has done for His own in the past. Therefore, I see no reason why God wouldn't do for His own in the present times. The Lord will no doubt send Angels, to protect, to do battle, or to guide His to a safe haven. Fear not, the Lord will provide, all your needs..call on the Lord, He hears the prayers of the righteous.
Prepare for the worse, if at all possible, pray and hope for the best, that nothing
happens. Put your trust in God, and lean on the Holy Spirit for understanding; Our faith may be tested, but never lost, for we depend on the Lord our God to come through for us, when we don't know what to do.
My prayers are with you Sis, and all those in harms way; please remember me and my family in your prayers.
I live in a major city, and there would be no where to go for safety. Only God could spare us from certain death; this is the thought that has crossed my mind.
Therefore, where could I go, but to the Lord.
Lord Almighty God and Father, protect all of your precious children, who look up to Our Heavenly God & Father, during these trying days ahead. Protect us under your wing, and send your Angels, to do battle in our place to protect us from all harm, and guide us to a safe haven. Protect all of our Brothers & Sisters in Christ here, and all around the world, who are in imminent danger. Our faith is in you, Almighty God and Father, and as your children, we are staying close to The Father, knowing, that the Lord of God will be victorious in all that God does, in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
