This past Thursday while my husband and I visiting our daughter, and granddaughters, we watched the movie "Heaven is Real" together in their home. The picture of Jesus Akiane painted, was the vision she had of Jesus. She was only 8 years old when she painted it. When this little boy in "Heaven is Real" went to Heaven he saw the same face of Jesus, and recognized it, when his father showed the painting Akiane did. This little boy had seen other pictures but none of them looked like the Jesus he saw, until the day his Dad showed him the painting, and he said, yeah, that's Him.

Take a look at this very short but astounding video, of how the face of the Shroud of Turin changes to look like the picture she painted. Wow, it's amazing, and this may very well be the picture of our Lord Jesus after all.
Maybe the computer geeks, have it wrong after all as they did their own computer imagining.

In the full interview Akiane said, she always prayed, for God to send her a subject that looked close to what she wanted to paint, and each time it came to pass; as one day a carpenter came to their home, and she asked him to sit
for her painting, because he looked so much like our Lord Jesus which she had seen in the vision.

This video is a transition betwen two photos. The first is the Shroud of Turin image of Jesus, which believed to be the burial cloth of Jesus. The second is the "Prince of Peace" painting of Jesus by Akiane Kramarik that was featured in the book "Heaven is for Real" about a 4 year old boy who sees Jesus in Heaven during a near death experience. Afterwards, he corroborated that this painting is closest to the true likeness of Jesus.

Wow, thank you for posting these two videos, Valerie. Absolutely amazing how Colton and Akiane saw the same image of Jesus as the Shroud of Turin.

I loved the video how Colton described heaven. It makes me long to go there all the more! I also loved how his father during the operation, went off by himself to pray a "real" prayer (as he put it) to the Lord and how He answered his prayer. The Lord loves it when we are real with Him.

Edit to add: Whoops! While scrolling down, I missed the third video that you posted of Akiane. I'll have to watch that, too.

To see the face on the shroud turn into the face painted by Akiane was truly amazing.

A couple of years ago my mom showed this painting to me by Akiane. I was so amazed, because it didn't look like any picture I had ever seen of our Lord before, and when Colton Burpo chose it and said that this was our Savior's face it truly was a gift from our precious Lord.

Okay, just finished watching the video of Akiane and her breathtaking talent of her poetry and her paintings. It is so obvious that God's Hand has been upon her since day one. What blows my mind is that her mother was an atheist and her family was unsaved, and what a witness she is to them that there is, indeed, a God and He has touched her life in such an awesome way. She has been chosen of God for a special purpose. I was amazed, also, how her painting of Jesus at such a tender age looks so much like the final images of the Shroud of Turin.
