1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

creeping Christian persecution, coming to a city near you

Fair Use for Information and Discussion Purposes

Dear family in Christ, this is one more example of creeping hatred of Christians
in my hometown (sigh) I've just learned of a city counsel decision to ban Christians from renting city facilities, this means a conference cannot be booked at a city centre (a facility paid for with tax dollars).
Reminding myself that Jesus was hated first. These people don't even know the christians involved.
After throwing accusations with no one that was accused allowed to know about the counsel session or allowed to respond, it was ultimately ruled that No Christians Allowed, unwelcome to come to Nanaimo.


If you would, please pray for the christians in our community. I didnt even know about this until my pastor brought it up last sunday. just saw the counsel meeting today. couldn't even stomach listening to it to the end.

Thank you to God our Abba, the Father of Jesus, and thank you to all who said a prayer about this.
the city council read an apology tonight and rescinded the motion in a council meeting.
All thanks to God for the believers here at RFTH. Our prayers for one another do make a difference.
