Random Conversations

I was talking to a retired gentleman the other day, and we got on the subject of how everything was so much worse than it used to be; good character was hard to find, morals, compassion, never having to lock the doors in the "olden days" and so on. I said that it is just a sign of the end times especially Israel, thinking he would know what I meant since he was heading to church.
He shook his head and asked me what I meant. I said you know Israel returning as a nation, and all of the signs of the end. He had know Idea what I meant.
I was surprised then realized there are a lot of churches out there not teaching about the end times, especially about Israel.

Another random conversation was with a girl of around sixteen and we were talking about how everything was numbered. I casually mentioned it reminded me of "the mark of the beast". and she looked at me and ask what was "the mark of the beast"? It opened up an opportunity to explain it to her. It surprised her that that was in the Holy Bible.

Have you ever randomly scanned some of the feed back on you tube videos about the end? So many people are saying the Bible is a myth. There is nothing wrong with a number in your skin ("mark of the beast") it is just a way to find lost children, it would be a great convenience of not having to carry a card around to get lost, some liked the idea of just running into a store and purchasing whatever they wanted by just scanning their hand. Others are saying they can't wait until the Christians are gone because they hate them.

Which is love: warning someone they are heading for a cliff with an eternal flame at the bottom or letting someone pass you by heading for the cliff in obvious ignorant bliss and sin continuing on towards the cliff? Most let them continue heading towards the cliff because they know if they warn them the person heading for the cliff will turn on them like a rabid dog in defense of their direction.

My brother once carried on a conversation with an atheist and they debated for awhile about belief in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. My brother sensed he was getting no where in the conversation so he said:

What do I have to lose if you are right? Absolutely nothing.

What do you have to lose if I am right? Your soul in hell for all of eternity.

...and he just left it like that.
