1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Pastor Hagee: Blood moons point to 'world-shaking event'

BY KOLTEN PARKER : APRIL 10, 2014 : Updated: April 10, 2014 10:44am

SAN ANTONIO — Megachurch pastor John Hagee is warning his San Antonio congregation and international following of a “world-shaking event that will happen between April 2014 and October 2015.”

And, no, he's not talking about Fiesta.

Hagee, founder of the Cornerstone Church, points to “four blood moons,” a rare astronomical event of four consecutive and complete lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad, which begins April 15. The San Antonio pastor asserts the dates of the eclipses signify a major event that will change history in a book released in October, a series of sermons and a TV special airing on Tuesday, the first night of the tetrad.

“What is the prophetic significance? Is this the end of the age?” Hagee, 73, asked his flock during a sermon near the time he released the book.

The televangelist, who declined to comment through spokesman Ari Morgenstern, gained international attention two years ago for a series of sermons asking, “Could 2012 be the end of the world as we know it,” that was broadcast to millions worldwide via his organization John Hagee Ministries and Global Evangelism Television.

Videos with dramatic music featuring Hagee's new prophecy have been posted to the organization's YouTube channel during the last few weeks, claiming “something is about to change” and seemingly ginning up excitement for the April 15 GETV special.

The four “blood moons” are total lunar eclipses that occur in intervals of about six months, an event known as a tetrad, according to NASA. A total eclipse is a result of a perfect alignment of the sun, the moon and the Earth and causes the moon to glow dark red.

Each eclipse in the upcoming tetrad will occur on a significant religious date, Hagee points out, citing NASA.

“The first of the four blood moons will come on April 15 this year, during Passover. The second will be on October 8, at the time of the Feast of the Tabernacles,” Hagee said, according to the Daily Express in London. “On April 4, 2015, during Passover, we will have another blood moon. Then finally, on September 28, during next year's Feast of the Tabernacles, the fourth blood and final moon will dawn.”

Hagee said to “have them fall on these exact dates is something that has to be beyond coincidental,” according to the Daily Express.

The Cornerstone Church, located near Stone Oak on the North Side, has about 20,000 active members, according to its website.

During last year's sermon, Hagee read Acts 2: 19-20 from the New Testament to signify the importance of the “blood red moons.”

“And I will show wonders in Heaven above and signs in the Earth beneath, the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.”

Between 1600 and 1900 there were no tetrads, but since, there have been five, according to NASA's millennium catalog of lunar eclipses.

The red moons all will be visible from the United States, and Tuesday's moon will be visible for approximately 78 minutes around 2 a.m., Fred Espenak, an eclipse expert for NASA, wrote on the agency's website.

“When you see these signs, the Bible says, lift up your head and rejoice, your redemption draweth nigh,” Hagee said in a sermon. “I believe that the Heavens are God's billboard, that He has been sending signals to Planet Earth but we just have not been picking them up.”

It truly is beyond coincidence.

2 blood moons on the Passover, one in 2014 & one in 2015
2 blood moons on the Feast of Tabernacle, one in 2014 & 2015

Now for a quick and short summary, two on passover, could be a sign, one stands for the Jewish nation, when God's death Angel, past over, the houses mark with the blood of a lamb (a future symbol of Jesus) on the post of the doors, therefore, the firstborns did not die. They were protected.

The second Passover, would stand for the blood of the Lamb, Jesus, first born of Mary. His blood was spilled for all sinners, and the first born had to die for the sins of the world. Therefore, people who accept the blood sacrifice of the sacrificial Lamb, Jesus, have the Lord's blood marked,on the posts of the door to their heart & soul, and will not die. They will be protected by being removed via the Rapture. Those that have died in Jesus, will be resurrected first, and caught up together to meet Jesus in the air; with those who are in Christ and alive. The Passover, symbolized the Lord's soon departure, from Earth, While Feast of Tabernacles would symbolize His return back to Earth.

Feast of Tabernacles or

Sukkot, Succot or Sukkos (Hebrew: סוכות‎ or סֻכּוֹת sukkōt or sukkos, Feast of Booths, Feast of Tabernacles) is a biblical Jewish holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the month of Tishrei (varies from late September to late October). It is one of the three biblically mandated festivals Shalosh regalim on which Hebrews were commanded to make a pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem. It follows the solemn holiday of Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement.

Sukkot is agricultural in origin. This is evident from the biblical name "The Feast of Ingathering," Ex. 23:16, 34:22 from the ceremonies accompanying it, from the season – "The festival of the seventh month" Ezek. 45:25; Neh. 8:14. – and occasion of its celebration: "At the end of the year when you gather in your labors out of the field" (Ex. 23:16); by its designation as "the Feast of the Lord" Lev. 23:39; Judges 21:19 or simply "the Feast". 1 Kings 8:2, 8:65; 12:32; 2 Chron. 5:3; 7:8 Perhaps because of its wide attendance, Sukkot became the appropriate time for important state ceremonies. Moses instructed the children of Israel to gather for a reading of the Law during Sukkot every seventh year (Deut. 31:10-11). King Solomon dedicated the Temple in Jerusalem on Sukkot (1 Kings 8; 2 Chron. 7). And Sukkot was the first sacred occasion observed after the resumption of sacrifices in Jerusalem following the Babylonian captivity (Ezra 3:2-4).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukkot

The Second Feast of Tabernacles would represent all nations who are to gather together once a year in Jerusalem, to come and worship Jesus whom will set up His Kingdom on Earth after 7 year tribulation, which the Jewish nation and the rest of those left behind will have to endure. At the end of the 7 years, Jesus will come to Rule and reign with a rod of iron and everyone, will be required
to gather unto the Lord in Jerusalem. His Saints will be with Him, to reign along with the Lord, as His ministers in charge. This will be a celebration of the return of Jesus back to Earth.

The Passover, symbolized the Lord's soon departure, from Earth, when Jesus was with us on Earth. While Feast of Tabernacles would symbolize His return back to Earth.

It's very late now and will try to continue later on in the day.

Re: Pastor Hagee: Blood moons point to 'world-shaking event'

Valerie said "The second Passover, would stand for the blood of the Lamb, Jesus, first born of Mary. His blood was spilled for all sinners, and the first born had to die for the sins of the world."

Yes, when Adam sinned, though he died for this, his blood could not atone for his own sin or for the sin passed down to his children. Because Jesus was sinless even in birth, his father being God, no sin was passed to him from his father.
In the garden, it is written that Adam sinned, but Eve was deceived. Adam's sin is what was passed down through the generations. Since Jesus's father was God, there was no passed down sin in him. Through obedience to his father, throughout his life, even to the cross, Jesus lived and died sinless except for accepting the debt of sin that other's could not repay. His blood, and only Jesus's innocent blood, is worth so much that the Father God will save all who turn from sin and ask Jesus to save them. Adam continued to live bodily until death, but spiritual connection to God was broken when he sinned. Jesus restores this spiritual connection to God, the source of life, the tree of life, a type of dna critical spiritual patch if you will. Jesus is the critical patch to secure us to God, to be free of sin and restored to righteousness. Only by the blood of Jesus.

This life teaches us about God. He keeps the most accurate accounts. He forgives the most. He is generous. He is able to provide. He comforts. He is patient. He is kind. He is long-suffering. He is just. He is merciful. He loves beauty. He is imaginative. He is creative. He enjoys colour. He enjoys variety. He is faithful. He tells the truth.
He is….who is God to you?

These blood moons are His enormous road sign. He has said in His written word, in Genesis that the moon is part of what He put in the sky for signs. Genesis 1. Jesus said when these things begin to take place, look up for our redemption draws nigh. Luke 21. Since our redemption is coming, it is high time to get low before God and turn from sin. Learn His ways. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Repent today, the day for salvation is today.
Thank you Valerie for the post.

Regina, Thank you for your reply, and you're most welcome for the post.

You wrote the follow:

I totally agree with you statements especially that these blood moons are God's enormous road signs,in the sky, pointing to the time at hand. Indeed God put the moon as part of the signs in the sky; especially that they take place on God's Holy Days, The Passover & Feast of Trumpets.

Passover, is to do with remembering, what the blood of "The Lamb of God", Jesus, did for us, which no one else could have ever done. Jesus, willing shed His precious blood on the cross for sins of the world. Neither the blood of Adam, or the blood of a animal, lamb, can take away the sins of the world, only the blood, of the Lamb of God, our beloved Lord Jesus.

This blood moon is a sign that the one who shed His blood for all sinners,
during Passover, is pointing to "look up at the blood moon", from Heaven Jesus our Savior came, and left. His shed blood, reflecting as a sign in the blood moon that the time of His coming is at hand. THE ROAD SIGNS SAYS "COME UP HERE"!

If there ever was a time to get right with the Lord, the time is right this very second, for no one is promised tomorrow, the present is all we have, and the past is history.

Jesus is Coming, the signs in the Heaven declare, that He is Coming, and we must be prepared, to meet the Lord, at any time, when God the Father sends His Son.

Divine Sign for Israel? Hagee Explains Blood Moons

SAN ANTONIO -- The Book of Genesis says God uses the sun, moon, and stars for signs and seasons. Examples can be found throughout the Bible.

Think of how a star led the wise men to Jesus or how the sun stood still as Joshua led Israel to victory over its enemies.

According to Pastor John Hagee, God is getting ready to speak this way once again.

"There's a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way," Hagee told CBN News.

"I believe that in these next two years, we're going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world," he predicted.

Four Blood Moons

In his latest book, Four Blood Moons: Something Is About to Change, Hagee lays out what he calls celestial signals. He describes how a series of blood moons in 2014 and 2015 will have great significance for Israel.

Although single blood moons happen fairly regularly, four appearing so closely together is extremely rare. There have only been a series of blood moons a handful of times over the past 500 years.

So what exactly is a blood moon and what is the biblical significance?

"A blood moon is when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon," Hagee explained. "And the sun is shining through the atmosphere of the Earth and casts up on the moon a red shadow. And so the moon appears to be red."

Such moons appear several times in scripture.

In the book of Joel, God says there will be "wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire…the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord."

In Acts, the Apostle Peter repeats that verse from Joel. And the book of Revelation says that during the Great Tribulation, "the moon will become like blood."

Blood moons are set to appear in April 2014, on Passover, and then again in September 2014 during the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot.

The timing is the same for 2015 -- a total of four blood moons, all appearing on Jewish feast days.

"The sun and the moon and the Earth are controlled by God almighty," Hagee said. "He is the one that is getting them in a direct alignment on a certain day at a certain time -- but each time, it's a Passover or Sukkot.

Historic Significance

In the past, the rare appearance of four blood moons on these feast days has coincided with major events for Israel and the Jewish people.

In 1492, Spain expelled the Jews. Columbus also discovered America, which became a safe haven for the Jewish people.

"In each of these blood moons, you have something that begins in tragedy and ends in triumph," Hagee explained.

For instance, in 1948, Israel was reborn as a nation.

"After 2,000 years, God supernaturally brought them from 66 nations and a nation was born in a day," Hagee noted. "That again was a supernatural something that happened following the tragedy of the Holocaust."

In 1967, Israel won the Six-Day War and recaptured Jerusalem.

"For the first time in 2,000 years, Jerusalem and the State of Israel were together again," Hagee said.

Nuclear Threat

The blood moons of 2014 and 2015 are poised to appear as Iran works toward nuclear weapons and Israel's neighbors, Egypt and Syria, are in chaos.

"The only reason that Iran will not acquire a nuclear bomb will be that Israel chooses a military solution to that crisis," Hagee told CBN News.

"I believe that if that happens, it will start a series of events that will change the course of world history," he said. "If Israel does not, then it will still change the course of world history."

Hagee has been warning of the Iranian nuclear threat through his work with Christians United for Israel, which he founded in 2006. It is now the largest pro-Israel organization in America, with some 1.3 million members.

He holds nights to honor Israel across the country and at San Antonio's Cornerstone Church, where he serves as senior pastor. The first event, in 1981, drew bomb threats and vandalism from anti-Semites.

Yet Hagee continues his mission.

"If there was ever a time for the Christians of America to stiffen their spine and stand up and speak up, it's now," Hagee admonished. "To see evil and not call it evil is evil. Not to speak is to speak. We cannot be silent and receive God's approval at a time like this."

He said it's still unclear what the coming blood moons will bring, but he is certain of one thing.

"When all is said and done, the flag of Israel will be flying over the walls of the city of Jerusalem when Messiah comes, and it's going to be forever," he said. "And every nation that rises up in judgment against Israel God will punish and punish severely."

Re: Pastor Hagee: Blood moons point to 'world-shaking event'

But Israel will only get to see the last of the four blood moons. So does it really mean what Pastor John Hagee thinks it means?

And will it also mean that our Rapture Flight To Heaven is nearer (just as Pastor J.D. Faraq implied in his most recent 4.13.2014 M-E Prophecy Update)

I discovered these texts in Joel 2:15-16 KJV that certainly sound like the Rapture to me...

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion,
sanctify a fast, call a solemn assem-
bly:
16 Gather the people, sanctify the
congregation, assemble the elders,
gather the children, and those that
suck breasts: let the bridegroom
go forth of his chamber, and the bride
out of her closet.

The bridegroom (Jesus), and the bride (us). And then read the rest of Joel 2.

"He said it's still unclear what the coming blood moons will bring, but he is certain of one thing." Israel will stand in the very end, after all is said, done, and over with.

The person of the link, you provided above has posted incorrectly, the last blood moon is on September 28th, 2015. I don't think it matters whether or not Israel gets to see some of it or even none at all, what matters is it took place on the Passover, and there was a blood moon that was seen in other parts of the earth.

Maybe it's a sign, that Israel has been blinded in the past not recognizing their Messiah, who is Jesus; Therefore they will not view the last four blood moons, for this reason or whatever the real reason may be, God only knows.

Therefore, the Rapture can take place whenever the Good Lord wills it to happen and certainly because Israel doesn't see it or sees a little of it doesn't really matter. . Maranatha! Valerie

Well the Blood Moons discussions are up and running again, because of recent events especially in Israel...therefore, let's bump it back up to the top again!

Re: Pastor Hagee: Blood moons point to \'world-shaking event\'

Valerie,

It's amazing how the Holy Bible is being unsealed in these last days just as it said it would. How it has been brought out that the Feasts of Israel are actually God's appointments with men. It's no coincidence that Revelation 6:12
says:

I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.

And now we have these four blood moons on God's appointed feast days with a complete solar eclipse right in the middle.

Maranatha,

Julie
