1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Americans Have Become a “Slave Race”
In a nutshell, Doug – along with many others – believes a “deep state” has taken over the US. It was not described in any constitution. The newspapers didn’t report on it. To most people it was largely invisible. But it was how the country was really governed.”

The Strang Case of the Christian Palestinianists

An IMF Proposal to Ban Banks from Issuing Money
IMF economists Michael Kumhof and Jaromir Benes have been circulating a proposal to end the ability of banks to create money. As Kumhof explains in the Nov 2013 video below, the perception that governments create money is totally false. In the current global economic system, only about 3% of money (mainly coinage) is created by government. The other 97% is created by private banks out of thin air when they generate new loans.

Clinton vs. Bush Again, Really?
In the cases of Kennedy and Bush, they are also war heroes. They deserve our admiration. My concern is not with their legacy. My concern and my growing worry is that we are returning, by consensus, to the aristocratic rule from which we liberated ourselves in 1776. Is there a single day from which we are free of pundits, op-eds, reporters, columnists, politicians, talking heads or cable-TV hosts gushing over the political prospects of a Hillary Clinton or a Jeb Bush? And oh, the gnashing of teeth that went on during the few short months without a Kennedy in the halls of Congress. To this we’ve come.

In Less Than Two Days, Japan Will Walk Headfirst Into An Economic Buzzsaw
By some measures, the Japanese economy has gathered steam over the last year or so as aggressive monetary easing — a key leg of "Abenomics" — has boosted inflation and the proclivity to spend. But now Japan is about to get punched in the gut, straight on. On April 1, the consumption tax is set to rise, from 5% to 8%, and though this has been seen coming from a mile away, nobody has done anything about it. And now it's here.

The French Trains were on the Wrong Track
Memory can be painful, even extremely painful. The death on March 8, 2014 of 93-year-old Leo Bretholz has evoked memories of a still painful and controversial issue in wartime France. His small role in history and in current lawsuits in Maryland resulted from his action on November 5, 1942 when he leaped from a train carrying him and a thousand other Jews to Auschwitz. That train, number 42 of the convoys taking Jews on the journey to their death, was operated by the French railway company, the Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF

Abbas slapped Washington in the face by relaunching a diplomatic war
Last week, Palestinian Authority (PA) leader Mahmoud Abbas blew off the US-brokered peace talks with Israel and slapped Washington in the face by re-launching a diplomatic war against Israel through international institutions. First, the breakdown of the talks is a reminder of the stubborn reality that so many prefer to ignore: The gap in the positions of the two sides is too large to bridge even by a creative diplomacy backed by a superpower. Both Israel and the Palestinians still possess tremendous energy to fight for things that are important to them. Peace and coexistence are not the most important goals of the two warring societies.

Even LGBT Historians Admit No One Is 'Born Gay'

The basis of these claims is that sexual orientation, as part of a person's identity, is entirely a modern invention. Even in Greek culture, where homosexual behavior is known to have occurred, the line of reasoning goes, there is nothing to show that even a minority of individuals identified as gay or homosexual in any way. Rather, homosexuality was supposedly considered a supplement to one's regular heterosexual relationships.
