For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
I still believe we are very close to the Rapture taking place very soon, even today, just like you had stated Bob, good day, as any, if, it has been chosen by God and in His perfect plan. Today is the 29th of December, the number 29 stands for departure.
However, "IF" the Rapture has been set for this year by the Lord our God, then I believe the 31st of December, perhaps the very last second BEFORE the strike of 12 midnight ringing in the New Year, we would depart to meet Jesus in the clouds. People left on Earth would be celebrating A New Year a second or so later,and People of God would be celebrating A New Beginning in Heaven.
My reasoning is Dec. 31st, 2013 falls on a "Tuesday", a day that many
Jewish weddings are, still taking place to this day. A perfect time to be caught up to our divine Wedding in Heaven. "Tuesday" is the "3rd" day of the week. We have all heard in scripture; [He will raise us up on the LAST DAY - 3rd day]
I'M NOT SETTING A DATE, I'M SPECULATING, THINKING OUTLOUD, THAT MAYBE THIS MIGHT be in God's plan, time will tell, God knows and we'll soon find out for sure.
Last Day of Year 2013, let's look at the date and numbers below:
12 31 2013 Remove the 1's, from month, day, year, it would look like this:
1 1 1 Order placement of numbers above; 1 first, 1 second, 1 third place, (Holy Trinity in order, Father, Son, Holy Spirit)
2 3 2 3 Order of numbers left over; 2nd Person Jesus, 3rd Person Holy Spirit, 2nd Person Jesus, 3rd Person Holy Spirit, repeated twice. This would to announce Jesus is Coming, first for His Bride in the Clouds, then second time to Earth upon His return at the battle of Armageddon. Note, the Holy Spirit was sent by God, after Jesus ascended to Heaven, and the Holy Spirit will be the one to change our bodies before we ascend to Heaven at the Rapture.
Therefore, each and everyday left is a good possibility that the Rapture may still take place this year 2013, don't discount it as yet.
My thought, since we are to be RAISED UP ON THE LAST DAY, WHY NOT ON THE LAST DAY OF THIS YEAR IF IT IS IN GOD'S PLAN.
Many are looking to 2014 & 2015, and are no longer expecting Rapture in 2013.
Keep watching, for WHEN WE "LEAST EXPECT JESUS TO COME AT THE RAPTURE", that's when the Lord will come.
Maranatha!
Valerie
Caps for emphasis only.
Nice thoughts.
doesn't it say there was a wedding in Canna on the third day...
wasn't Jesus' mom and friends there too. Canna means heaven ( I read).
Not only is Tuesday the third day- we are in the 3rd millennium (a great third day from when Jesus came).
Then again, He could fetch is Bride the day before and still have a wedding on the third day.
David Owuor has meetings on both days.
You may be right Valerie and we might even have a few extended days according to Pastor Riley. I got this in and email and will post it for all to see. Maranatha!! We know our time is short!
The overlooked “After”
By Pastor F. M. Riley
December 28, 2013
“My son, if thou wilt receive My words, and hide My commandments with thee;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord giveth wisdom; out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 2:1-7
Introduction
Throughout my nearly 60 years in the Lord’s ministry I have repeatedly and consistently emphasized in all of my teaching, preaching, and Bible studies the need for God’s people to carefully study the Word, receive it at face value for what it actually and literally says and teaches, and “rightly divide the word of truth,” 2 Timothy 2:15. Many things are involved in such study, such as the actual statements made, the wording of those statements, the literal meaning of the words, the past, present, or future tenses set forth in the statements, the immediate context in which the statements are made, and the larger context in which the book or chapter itself is placed, who was speaking and their position, and to whom they were speaking and their position, the subject matter, and the genders and tenses in the Hebrew and Greek texts from which the English Bible was translated, etc. Sadly, many simply do not make the effort to engage in such intense study of the inspired Word of God, and it shows in the churches and the ranks of Christianity today.
In spite of such intense study, we believers may still overlook or miss something. God’s Word is inexhaustible. This is why one may read a passage and receive a truth from it, then later read the same passage again and receive other or different truths from it. What a wonderful living book of holy instruction is God’s precious Word, John 6:63. Glory to God! Praise the Lord!
This study will emphasize a truth that is glaringly obvious, yet I [and perhaps others] just totally overlooked it. I do not speak for anyone other than myself here. Perhaps in my intense longing for the coming of the Lord to take His New Covenant people “home” to glory, my longing for His coming caused me to overlook this simple truth so glaringly set forth in the Scriptures. Regardless of the reason for it, I am grateful that the Spirit of the Lord called it to my attention. Now I want to share it with our readers, and hopefully it will encourage those true believers who have been so diligently “watching,” to continue to faithfully “watch” and “love His appearing,” Titus 2:11-15.
The layout of the Book of Revelation
In Revelation 1:19, the Lord God explicitly told John to “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.”
In this inspired Scripture the Lord God Himself divided the Book of Revelation into three divisions; past, present, and future. It is the ignoring of these three inspired divisions that cause so many who fancy themselves to be “prophecy teachers” to make such a mess out of their “interpretations” of the book of Revelation. One cannot totally ignore these divisions set in place by the Lord God Himself and ever expect to “rightly divide” this final book of prophecy [Revelation 1:3]. It cannot be done!
It is glaringly obvious that in the first chapter of Revelation, John wrote about those things which
1
he had personally been an eye witness to; “the things which thou hast seen.”
It is just as obvious that in chapters two and three of Revelation, John wrote about “the things which are;” the church age which had begun at that time and which continues right to this present day and hour.
Then beginning in chapter four of Revelation, John wrote about “the things which shall be hereafter;” that is, the things which come “after” the church age has been concluded. This begins in chapter four and continues right on through chapter twenty-two. And this introduces the problem…..
The overlooked “After”
I, and many other serious students of Bible prophecy, have always taught a Pre-tribulation resurrection and rapture for New Covenant believers. No apology is made to anyone for having done so. I have personally written several Bible studies setting forth Scriptural proof of the Pre-tribulation rapture, and not a one of these “rapture deniers” has ever even attempted to take the Scriptures and refute my studies. Not one! Even as I write this study today, I continue to believe and teach that the resurrection and rapture of New Covenant believers will precede the terrible judgments poured out upon humanity during the swiftly approaching seven year Tribulation period.
Dear readers, the Lord’s true churches are the espoused “bride of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 11:1-2; Acts 20:28. The Lord’s true church is set forth in the Parable of the Kingdom as “the pearl of great price,” Matthew 13:45-46. As I pointed out in my study, You cannot Burn a Pearl,” there is no way that the Lord’s church can come under the judgments to be poured out upon Christ rejecting humanity during the Tribulation. These judgments would totally destroy the Lord’s church, and there is no way that the Lord God is going to allow that to happen! PERIOD!
It is then highly significant, and should never have been overlooked or ignored, that in the Book of Revelation the “church age” ends with Revelation 3:22. However, there is not a word said in the final letter to the church at Laodicea about the resurrection and rapture occurring. Check it out yourself!
However, immediately following the end of the letter to the church at Laodicea, the very next Scripture in God’s Word begins with “After this,” or as it is actually worded in the Greek text, “After these things….” After what things? The things that occurred during the church age; particularly during the Laodicean church period. So what does John actually say happens “after these things?”
In 4:1 John records that he beheld “a door having been opened in Heaven” [compare 3:7-8] and the Lord speaking to him with the voice of “a trumpet” [compare 1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52], commanding him to “Come up hither.” That this is a vivid type of the rapture of God’s people should be glaringly obvious to any true believer.
Folks, carefully notice that the placement of this event in the inspired Scripture is “after” the church age has ended, but BEFORE the Seal Judgments of the Tribulation begin to be opened and poured out upon the earth. In other words, it appears to be the very first thing to occur immediately following the end of the church age. Therefore it would still qualify as a Pre-tribulation rapture! Glory to God!
A Transition Period
This rapture event apparently occurs in a brief transition period, which takes mankind from the previous church age to the Tribulation judgments poured out upon Christ rejecting humanity when the Seals begin to be opened in Revelation 6.
Why haven’t I, and possibly others of God’s people, seen this truth before? It is glaringly obvious once our attention has been called to this overlooked “after.” You tell me and we will both know! Folks, like it or not, we are all still humans with a fallen “sin nature.” Only by the grace of God is any of His truth revealed to us, 1 Corinthians 2:14; John 16:12-15. Regardless of how much we apply ourselves, there are truths we overlook or miss in God’s Word, unless the Lord God grants us the grace to see them. This truth is so plain that it literally glares forth from the pages of God’s Word, yet how many of us have overlooked this “after” in our pursuit of establishing the Pre-tribulation rapture, rather than determining the time appointed for the rapture to occur in the Lord God’s layout of the
2
Book of Revelation?
Folks, this overlooked “after” is an important point in “rightly dividing the truth” of Bible prophecy. Every reader has my sincere apology for my having overlooked it all these years. I am deeply grateful and thankful to my precious Lord for bringing it to my attention at this specific time.
Perfect Harmony
When the Lord God brought this overlooked “after” to my attention, at first I was flabbergasted. I recently wrote and posted a study, Looking at the Past, to Discern the Future, in which I pointed out that every prophecy given in the Psalms had come to pass in the exact year indicated by the number of the Psalm. This being the case, then the prophecy of a resurrection and rapture in Psalm 113:7-8 should take place before the end of 2013, this present year correlating with Psalm 113.
However, John’s vision clearly indicates that it is “after” the church age has ended that he saw the “door having been opened in heaven,” and the Lord commanding him to “Come up hither;” an obvious and very vivid type of the rapture of New Covenant believers. So how do we reconcile the rapture occurring “after” the church age and still fulfilling the prophecy of the resurrection and rapture in Psalm 113:7-8?
Praise the Lord God! “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord,” Psalm 150:6.
At the very time I was contemplating this, I received a report from a brother in Christ pointing out that a number of “Christian sects” in Europe and Asia never accepted the Gregorian Calendar used by most of the political nations of the world today. These “Christian sects” [Russian Orthodox; Greek Orthodox; and others] continue to use the Julian Calendar in their reckoning of dates and years right to this present day. Why is this important?
Because, according to the Julian calendar, 2013 will not end until midnight January 13th-14th. By the way, what Calendar was in use when John wrote the Book of Revelation? The Julian calendar was authorized by Julius Caesar in 46 B.C. and continued in use in the Roman Empire and beyond until 730 A.D. Glory to God! So obviously it was the Julian Calendar that was in use when John was inspired of the Lord to write the Book of Revelation. Take your encyclopedia and check these facts out for yourself. Since John was using the Julian Calendar when he wrote the prophecies of Revelation, then there is no good reason for us living today to reject using it in the fulfillment of these prophecies. 2013 will not be over on the Julian Calendar until midnight January 13th-14th.
At some day or night up until then our Lord will come to resurrect and rapture His New Covenant believers to glory, and it will still be in perfect harmony with the resurrection and rapture occurring in 2013, as clearly predicted in Psalm 113:7-8. And it will still be a Pre-tribulation rapture occurring before the opening of the Seal judgments which begin the Tribulation judgments of the wicked left upon the earth. Oh, glory to God! Praise the Lord! Glory hallelujah!
Look up dear readers! Our Lord’s coming for His precious church bride is right at the door!
“Even so, come, Lord Jesus,” Revelation 22:20.
Valerie,
I would never jump ship on 2013, as you stated in your post the signs are all over the place pointing to our soon departure. Glory to God!!!!
What gets me excited is the fact that we might still have until January 13-14, which according to the Julian calendar is still 2013 per Pastor Riley below. If 2013 comes and goes according to our calendar then people would not be expecting it to happen in January. It will happen on a day we least expect it, sure seems to fit a possible January date.
Per Pastor Riley...
According to the Julian calendar, 2013 will not end until midnight January 13th-14th.
NCSue,
That's wonderful news as well, honestly, whatever day the Lord chooses, it's
going to be a GREAT DAY for all of us!!! Perhaps, we may be home with Jesus, for Eastern Rite Christmas which falls on Jan. 7th, 2014 on the Julian calendar; Christmas Day! Maybe by or before the Julian Calendar New Year, which falls on January 14th, 2014..New Years Day!!!
LET THE LORD'S PERFECT PLAN FOR US, BE FULFILLED ACCORDING TO HIS DAY & HOUR.
GOD KNOWS, THE EXACT DAY AND HOUR, WE KNOW IT IS CLOSER THAN EVER BEFORE!

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 33 *
The number 33 is connected to promise or the promises of God. The 33rd time Noah’s name is used in Scripture is when God promises to not destroy the entire world again with a flood and seals His promise with the sign of the rainbow.
12 And God said, 'This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.' (Genesis 9:12-16, NIV)
The 33rd time Abraham’s name is used in God's word Isaac - the child of promise - was born:
"And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him." (Genesis 21:1-2, NKJV)
How does the number thirty-three relate to Jacob's ladder?
The 33rd time Jacob’s name is found in scripture he promised to give a tenth of all he had to God when he had a vision of a ladder reaching to heaven (referred to as Jacob's ladder).
"Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it . . .
"Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, 'Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.' And he was afraid and said, 'How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!' Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city had been Luz previously.
"Then Jacob made a vow, saying, 'If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, AND OF ALL THAT YOU GIVE ME I WILL SURELY GIVE A TENTH TO YOU.' " (Genesis 28:10-12, 16-22, NKJV)
Landscape with Rainbow
The significance of the number thirty-three is also seen at Jesus' age at death, 33, which was the fulfillment of all the prophecies and promises concerning the Savior of man.
The divine name of God, Elohim, appears 33 times in the story of creation found in the opening chapters of Genesis. Number 33 also is a numerical representation of the Star of David (also known as the shield of David) and the numerical equivalent of the word Amen

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 30
The number thirty, being 3 x 10, denotes a higher level of perfection of Divine order, as marking the right moment. Jesus was thirty years of age at the commencement of His ministry. Joseph, a type of Jesus, was the same age. King David also, when he began to reign over Israel, was 30 years old:
"And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years old," (Luke 3:23, Holy Bible in Its Original Order - A Faithful Version (HBFV))
"Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt." (Genesis 41:46, NKJV unless stated)
"David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years." (2Samuel 5:4)
Additional commentary on the Biblical Meaning of 30 *
The number 30 pictures dedication. Aaronic priests were dedicated to serve at age 30. John the Baptist, the son of a priest, began his ministry at age thirty, six months before Jesus began His at age thirty. Thirty also portrays the blood of Christ.
The number thirty and the betrayal of Jesus
Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. When he threw the silver back into the temple, the priests rejected it as an offering but decided instead to buy a field - which was a fulfillment of an ancient prophecy:
In 30 A.D., on the day of Passover, Jesus Christ shed His blood and died on the cross - the blood of the Lamb of God given from the sins of the world.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 3

(Here's just a snippet of the meaning of the number 3 below, please go to url above FIRST, IF you want to read the meaning in it's full context from the very beginning.)
Where is the First Occurrence of the Number 3?
The first occurrence of the number is in Genesis 1:13. "The third day" was the day on which the earth was caused to rise up out of the water, symbolical of that resurrection life which we have in Christ, and in which alone we can worship, or serve, or do any "good works."
Hence three is a number of RESURRECTION, for it was on the third day that Jesus rose again from the dead. This was Divine in operation, and Divine in its prophetic foreshadowing in the person of Jonah (Matthew 12:39,40; Luke 11:29; Jonah 1:17). It was the third day on which Jesus was "perfected" (Luke 13:32). It was at the third hour He was crucified; and it was for three hours (from the 6th to the 9th) that darkness shrouded the Divine Sufferer and Redeemer. The "loud voice" at the end of those hours, when, "about the ninth hour," He cried, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me" (Matthew 27:46), shows completely that nothing of nature, nothing of the light or intelligence of this world, could give help in that hour of darkness. Does not this show us our impotence in the matter? Does it not prove our incapacity to aid in delivering ourselves from our natural condition?

Jesus prayed three times in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest. Jesus was crucified at the 3rd hour and died at the 9th hour. There were 3 hours of darkness that covered the land while Jesus was dying, from the 6th hour to the 9th hour. There are 27 books in the New Testament, which is 3 cubed - or completeness to the third power (33).

The meaning of number 31 is:
What does 31 represent?
The Hebrew expression for the name of God, El, is significant as a number or factor of Deity. Josiah, considered one of the best kings to rule the Kingdom of Judah, reigned for 31 years (640 - 609 B.C.).

Use Discernment- this is just what I'm wondering about
Valerie & all, in Pastor Riley's letter in this thread, it says Psalm 113: 7-8.
This is where the poor are raised out of the dust and the needy out of the dunghill.
The dead who have been buried and those even thrown into garbage dumps, alike, the Lord will resurrect one day. This year, the Eastern Orthodox Christmas falls on Mon, Jan 7 in the US.
When it is 2pm Pacific Time (-8 UTC), it is midnight in Jerusalem. So while the US orthodox christians celebrate christmas on the 7th, in the afternoon it is already the 8th at Israel.
Psalm 113: 7-8 (January 7-8) would be a wonderful time to see the Lord.
The other thing this brings to mind is how we say numbers. sometimes we say "two thousand thirteen" and sometimes we say "twenty thirteen". In God's Arithmetic by Don Kistler, it says twenty is the number for redemption
We are in the 20th century since John finished writing the book of Revelation, the 21st century since the birth of Jesus.
I would be glad to see the Lord today or on any day. God's perfect will be done.
Not date setting, just thinking out loud
Regina,
I'm expecting it sooner. like perhaps, tomorrow 31st, the LAST DAY OF THE YEAR 2013; however, let God's will be done accordingly.
Not giving up on 2013 on our Calendar until the clock strikes 12 midnight on New Years Eve.
Maranatha!
Valerie
We have arrived, the 31st of December 2013 is here. The Last Day of this Year has arrived, and the New Year is at the door; or is it The Last Day for us here on Earth,
and a departure is finally at hand? God knows the future, therefore, He knows exactly how this day will end.
Truthfully, I'm glad this year is almost over, and there is either a New Year awaiting us, or New Beginnings in Heaven in Eternity.
Will the Rapture take place today? That's a trillion dollar question, and I don't have the answer to it! I'm hoping it will, because ONLY the Pre -Tribulation Rapture has always been imminent.
All, I can say is, that either the Lord has chosen this day, the month and year for the Rapture or He has not! Will we still be here to bring in the year 2014 on our Calendar here on Earth when the clock rings 12 midnight in your part of the world? Will we be caught up and to meet Jesus in the Clouds, then taken to Heaven via the Rapture Flight just before the clock strikes 12?.
Let's remember, that know matter what does or doesn't occur, today, or the next day,
we're that much closer to the day of the Lord's Coming than ever before.
Happy New Beginnings, for wherever the good Lord may lead us.
Maranatha!
Valerie
I usually look at a scripture from my One Year Bible before
I go to bed. I wasn't turned to it, but, something made me
want to look at Psalm 31 (the last day of 2013 = a "31st").
It "CERTAINLY FITS" the way many watchers are feeling -
"cut off"...in a "besieged city" (THIS SIN FILLED WORLD)!!!
Psalm 31 (NIV 1984)
19 How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for
those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on
those who take refuge in you. 20 In the shelter of your presence
you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you
keep them safe from accusing tongues.
21 Praise be to the LORD, for he showed his wonderful love to
me when I was in a besieged city. 22 In my alarm I said, "I am
cut off from your sight!" Yet you heard my cry for mercy when
I called to you for help.
23 Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful,
but the proud he pays back in full. 24 Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the LORD.
~~~~~~~~~~~
31 = offspring
I read Psalm 31 this morning also, Calvin.
and took another look at Revelation 4, listening to an audio bible and reading along because of Pastor Riley talking about the "after".
In an earlier part of psalm 31 it says
1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
This seems like "these days". The world is mocking Jesus, rejecting His word being the truth, even in courts. How can a court be just if it rejects the word of the Lord Jesus? It cannot. His righteousness delivers us.
Verse 2 reminds me of Jesus "coming quickly" "revved up" as Pastor JD says, speedily, suddenly.
He is the One who will deliver us from the net laid in secrecy, to His place, His rock and fortress. Jesus is our safety.
Verse 5, especially on this New Year's Eve, into the hands of the Lord Jesus we commit our spirits. Amen
Revelation 4, after the Lord speaks to the churches, it says
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
After the church age, before any seals are opened, before the assembly that asks who is worthy to open the seals,
John hears the voice like a trumpet calling him up to see what will happen AFTER (caps for emphasis).
There are the elders, clothed and with crowns. Wispy spirits do not need clothing. New bodies need new clothing in heaven.
This is encouraging to me and I hope to you and all RFTH readers, that the seals opening is AFTER the church.
By this scripture, we are home before the 1st seal and rider are loosed. Since Israel is close to an agreement, this is not far away. Maybe another conflict will happen before peace is agreed to, whatever happens, Trust the Lord Jesus.
Into His hands we commit our spirits. Amen
Shout out to NC Sue: Jan 7 is Eastern Orthodox Christmas Day and you are correct, Jan 13 midnight is New Years by the
Julian Calendar.
Regina,
Pastor Riley, has been wrong many times before, and most likely this will be the same come the Eastern Orthordox Christmas which falls on January 6th, Christmas Eve & January 7th, 2014 their Christmas Day.
Eastern Orthrodox New Years Eve is on January 13,2014, New Years Day falls on January 14th.
To tell you the the truth, from this day forth, I'm not looking at any dates anymore from anyone. I think too much time is being wasted by searching for the dates of the Rapture, which could be used bringing the lost to Jesus.
Jesus never commanded us to search for the date of the Rapture, He commanded us TO WATCH, NOT SEARCH.
I need to make some MAJOR changes on this site, which will come into affect after the New Year. I KNOW FOR A FACT SOME WILL NOT LIKE IT, BUT GOD COMES FIRST.
I'm more sure than ever, that we will be here to usher in 2014."The reason is, Jesus said, He would come as a THIEF, no one knows when a thief will enter their residence. This is why JESUS commanded us to WATCH so that WE WOULDN'T BE TAKEN UNAWARE, because we KNOW JESUS IS COMING, but we don't know the EXACT DAY OR HOUR. WE KNOW IT IS NEAR BECAUSE OF ALL SCRIPTURAL PROHECHIES COMING TO PASS BEFORE OUR VERY US, THROUGHOUT THE YEARS."
We also see another prophecy of the last days coming to pass, MANY FALSE PROPHETS AND THEIR PROPHECIES, STATED THAT JESUS GAVE A DATE, MONTH, YEAR, TIME OF HIS COMING. WE SHOULD NEVER TRY TO MAKE GOD LOOK LIKE A LIAR,
BECAUSE HE DOESN'T LIE. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THEIR LAME EXCUSES EITHER, BECAUSE IT'S ANOTHER LIE UPON A LIE.
Are these the ones the Lord spoke about which is written in scripture...
Matthew 7:21-23
New King James Version (NKJV)
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
NEW BEGINNINGS, OBEDIANCE TO THE LORD AND HIS WORD IN 2014, WILL BE FRONT AND CENTER.
THANK YOU GOD, FOR GIVING US A CHANCE TO REPENT, AND DO RIGHT BY YOU OUR LORD AND GOD.
MARANATHA!
Valerie
Valerie, I understand what your saying about watch vs search. I don't get out much because i'm so limited in how much walking I can do. I am focusing on prayer mostly, this can be done anywhere
My heart was lighter reading Pastor Riley's email, but I certainly don't want to be deceived.
By the end of yesterday, I felt dismal until I turned and focused on just the Lord.
Valerie, we are here until the Lord Jesus takes us home one way or another. So I'll watch what is going on and wait.
God bless you. Happy New Year
Regina, I too don't get out much because of my walking disability, therefore,
I spend time, where the Lord leads me, be it on the site, in prayer, Bible,
or otherwise. There's nothing wrong in searching for the nearness of the Lord's coming, but let's not solely dwell on it alone. When the time comes, we will all know it has arrived, no one will have to tell us. We are the Body of Christ, and we are one in Christ. We know we are close to the Lord coming at the Rapture, so let every day of the year, be met with great expectation, that this could be the day Jesus comes to take us home.
We are all watching and longing for the Lord's coming because we love Jesus. The Lord told us to watch and occupy; therefore, let us occupy,as we continue to watch, by bringing the truth of God's saving grace through Jesus. His promise of coming and taking us to the place He has prepared for us. We certainly, are able to watch and occupy in doing God's work. Let's dwell on serving the Lord and how He can use each one of us, in these last days, for His kingdom.
Honestly, Regina, for the very first time, I was somewhat disappointed, however I have great peace about it, knowing, that only God knows the EXACT DAY OR HOUR of the Lord's Coming, no matter who claims they knew. Peace that surpasses all understanding, and I'm not dwelling on the fact it didn't happen. I'm dwelling on New Beginnings, here on Earth, until the Lord comes.
We're still here, as I thought we would be, God knows why. We know, that another New Year is facing each and everyone of us, so let's do the best we
can, for His Kingdom, His Honor & Glory.
New Beginnings, New start to a New Year, with great hope and expectations
of better things ahead for the Bride of Christ, perhaps even the Rapture, after all, only the Pre Tribulation Rapture has always been imminent. God knows what this year will bring for each of us. We can hope and pray,
that this will finally be the year of our departure.
Maranatha!
Happy New Years to you and yours!
Valerie
