1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
An old Chinese proverb states that "a picture is worth a thousand words". That is certainly true with this photo of the raging bull on Wall Street. I saw this picture yesterday on Bill Koenig's International News site along with a story about the NASDAQ hacking incident. This morning it is still there.

As I looked at it, the thought came to me that this is a blatant symbol of Baal, the spirit worshiped by Ahab and Jezebel, and much of ancient Israel. Remember the GOLDEN CALF that Aaron built for them while Moses tarried on the mountain with God? The people said that they did not know what had happened to Moses or whether he would ever come back so make us a god we can see. Evidently this was a carry over from life in Egypt and the culture there. Aaron made the idol of silver and gold melted down and reformed into a calf, a bull, the symbol of Baal. See the connection to economics? To wealth? Silver and gold.....
The next thought that came to me is that the teetering economy in America and around the world is connected to this brazen worship of Baal in place of God. There is a connection to Mammon here; however, I am not sure how Mammon is situated in relation to Baal. It is all part of satan's kingdom hierarchy. The economies of America and the world will collapse. It is not a matter of if but when. Reason? God is judging the kingdoms of this world, the kingdoms of the false gods just as He did in Egypt before removing those that were His. This my friends is another sign that our removal is near.
