So many people want some "Norman Rockwell" image of
good life. It does NOT work that way! You end up with a
worship of an "image"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Facebook is probably THE MOST DANGEROUS thing for
ignorant Christians / people trying to be "liked" that there
could possibly be. It has become a MAJOR TOOL OF THE
devil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People live their lives "on facebook".

Looking to "Facebook" is not looking to Jesus!!!!!!!!!!

I was watching the news yesterday and they were talking
about people being addicted to technology. They were
telling people to keep their children away from computers,
etc. So that they can learn how to interact with other children
and people.

So, that got me to thinking. Why are people getting addicted
to these " things"?

It is like taking a drug. I remember in the 1960's, when the
Hippies were promoting people to take psychedelic drugs.
They were using the term, tune in, turn on and drop out.
Kids were getting high on drugs, in order to detach themselves
from society.

Instead of people using drugs, now they are dropping out of
society, by using computers, Ipods, Ipads, etc.

It is the new drug. You have seen them. Sitting in restaurants
etc. looking into their toys. They are completely lost in their
own little world.

It is a fantasy world and they are oblivious of anything that is
going on around them. If they are using their toys, then they
don't have to communicate with anyone else.

That is why so many people are getting addicted to their
computers. It is a way of dropping out of society and not
get high on any kind of a drug.

People can sit for hours and entertain themselves and not
have a worry in the world, about what all is going on around t
hem.

It makes them happy, like being high on a drug.

People can NOT just be satisfied to be who they are in
relationship to God / Jesus!!! Jesus came so that by
LOSING our lives, we GAIN our lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What people will do with this "Facebook" stuff is to try
to "ceate" who they "want" to be instead of looking to
God and crying out to Him through Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The churches ARE NOT getting the job done in telling
people this because it even goes against "their" ways.
In other words, they say you "should" go to church and
follow "their" doctrines and ideas in order to "fit in" to
what is a "Christian".

THE WORLD IS IN A MAAAJOR MESS!!!!!!!

IT IS TIME TO LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's NOT GOING TO BE THAT MANY PEOPLE THAT
ARE READY FOR THE RAPTURE!!!! It's right here in the
Word.

The Bible says that they're not even going to notice it!!!!!!!

I agree that people are spending way too much time on Facebook and with technology. However, we can also use the technology to spread the Gospel and witness. We can turn around the tool of the Devil and use it for Jesus.

Everyone should share Bible verses and testimony on Facebook. I even share warnings and signs of the end times like I shared a story about the coming 4 red moons and how the news in the Middle East seems to be making way for something big that will happen soon because there's always something big when the 4 red moons appear like that. And that the only time it's going to happen in the next 1000 years is 2014-15.

Since the Devils children are on Facebook, we should witness to them there. And for other technology, parents should limit their kids and we should limit ourselves if we are spending too much time with technology and not enough with God.

Stephanie, I agree with you, it all depends how a person uses a tool like facebook, for good or for bad.

If you are using it to bring the lost to the Lord, then that's a good thing.
Letting people know that the return of Jesus is very near, and educating them, on prophecy from scripture, is a good way of getting the Gospel across on social media. Even Jesus sat in amongst sinners, because Jesus said that He came for such as these, the lost.

Myself, I don't have the time or desire to join any social media like facebook or others, I'm too busy, with this site, answering emails and things that need to be done at home on a daily basis as well as making time for our grandchildren and for each other.

We should remember that God turns all things for good to those whom love Him.
Therefore, if the Lord has called some to minster on facebook, then so be it;
as long as it brings, Glory and Honor to God!

YES, ya'll are BOTH correct!!!!!

I guess I've seen "Christians" sort of get lost in this
stuff too much!!!!!!!! Facebook could CERTAINLY be
used for good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
