I heard Pastor Faraq say the same thing in regards to Psalm 83.

I think they may be onto something. Everything is aligned perfectly,
therefore, sure makes good reasoning, that we're just about ready to depart.

the other thing about the passage, is the phrase " have lifted up the head"

remember Daniel Pearl and others? Those that hate God's people have lifted up the head, and not just in pride or showing themself openly.

Hmm ... ye olde serpent.

Later in the Psalms, we are given the promise of our Lord's coming victory
over the serpent & all evildoers:

Psalm 110:6-7 ~ New International Version (NIV) (bold text = my emphasis)

6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

7 He will drink from a brook along the way,
and so He will lift His head high.

Dale, I can't stand snakes. Years ago I was with a cousin in the desert for a day. He cautioned me to be careful of rocks, the snakes would go under rock shadow to hide and be a bit cooler.

When snakes raise the head before striking, then they (and the plan) is visible for a brief time before the strike. All this talk about surveillance, joint military training with other nations (on US soil), then the uprising and changing government in the middle east, unrest in Turkey, Jordan and on and on... perhaps we are seeing the head of the snake.
This morning I was reading in Jeremiah 51:44-64, reading and praying it.

As far as rapture timing goes, I wonder about the meaning of verse 44, where it says the Lord will bring out of the mouth of Bel, that which had been swallowed. And who is Bel? I think we are living in the time before this judgement on Bel, world masters takes place.

These verses bring up Bel:
Isaiah 46:1
Babylon's Idols
1Bel has bowed down, Nebo stoops over; Their images are consigned to the beasts and the cattle. The things that you carry are burdensome, A load for the weary beast. 2They stooped over, they have bowed down together; They could not rescue the burden, But have themselves gone into captivity

Jeremiah 50:2
The Judgment on Babylon
1The word which the LORD spoke concerning Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, through Jeremiah the prophet: 2"Declare and proclaim among the nations. Proclaim it and lift up a standard. Do not conceal it but say, 'Babylon has been captured, Bel has been put to shame, Marduk has been shattered; Her images have been put to shame, her idols have been shattered.' 3"For a nation has come up against her out of the north; it will make her land an object of horror, and there will be no inhabitant in it. Both man and beast have wandered off, they have gone away!

And this curious verse about Daniel's name, the Babylonian name beginning with Bel, i.e. Belteshazzar Daniel 4:8

Bel and the dragon
"chapter 14 of the extended Book of Daniel exists only in Greek in the Septuagint. This chapter, along with chapter 13, is referred to as deuterocanonical, in that it is not universally accepted among Christians as belonging to the canonical works accepted as the Bible. The text is viewed as canonical by both Catholic and Orthodox Christians but as apocryphal by Protestants and typically not found in modern Protestant Bibles, though it was in the original 1611 edition of the King James Version. It is listed in Article VI of the Thirty-Nine Articles of the Church of England."

Here Bel is a title, lord or master, that was used for a Celtic god, but also look,

in Babylonian and Assyrian writing in reference to many gods, many lords. This having many masters is sort of what has happened worldwide in the name of tolerance, untruth is tolerated as diversity of beliefs. Well not everyone is living in truth, including "christians" in that so many do get deceived.
There is one God who is good and true, the one who made everything, the one who chose to reveal Himself through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, using Moses, the prophets, the Father of our Lord Jesus.

Lord God, forgive our unbelief and our falling for deceptions, cause us to be delivered to You, to live in the truth of Your plans for us. Please Father, gather the lost sheep of the house of Israel to Yourself, gather the fullness of the gentiles, cause Your word to Jeremiah to come to pass and bring down the wall of Babylon, cause Babylon to be the one who is weary, destroy Babylon's fortified heights, bring spoilers as it is written so that Your enemy falls and does not rise to rule again. Your kingdom come Lord God, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, I ask in Jesus name.
