Habakkuk 2
1 I will stand my watch
And set myself on the rampart,
And watch to see what He will say to me,
And what I will answer when I am corrected.

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

4 “Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.
Woe to the Wicked

5 “Indeed, because he transgresses by wine,
He is a proud man,
And he does not stay at home.
Because he enlarges his desire as hell,
And he is like death, and cannot be satisfied,
He gathers to himself all nations
And heaps up for himself all peoples.

6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him,
And a taunting riddle against him, and say,
‘Woe to him who increases
What is not his—how long?
And to him who loads himself with many pledges’?
7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?
Will they not awaken who oppress you?
And you will become their booty.
8 Because you have plundered many nations,
All the remnant of the people shall plunder you,
Because of men’s blood
And the violence of the land and the city,
And of all who dwell in it.

9 “Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house,
That he may set his nest on high,
That he may be delivered from the power of disaster!
10 You give shameful counsel to your house,
Cutting off many peoples,
And sin against your soul.
11 For the stone will cry out from the wall,
And the beam from the timbers will answer it.

12 “Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed,
Who establishes a city by iniquity!
13 Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts
That the peoples labor to feed the fire,
And nations weary themselves in vain?
14 For the earth will be filled
With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea.

15 “Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor,
Pressing him to your bottle,
Even to make him drunk,
That you may look on his nakedness!
16 You are filled with shame instead of glory.
You also—drink!
And be exposed as uncircumcised!
The cup of the Lord’s right hand will be turned against you,
And utter shame will be on your glory.
17 For the violence done to Lebanon will cover you,
And the plunder of beasts which made them afraid,
Because of men’s blood
And the violence of the land and the city,
And of all who dwell in it.

18 “What profit is the image, that its maker should carve it,
The molded image, a teacher of lies,
That the maker of its mold should trust in it,
To make mute idols?
19 Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’
To silent stone, ‘Arise! It shall teach!’
Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver,
Yet in it there is no breath at all.

20 “But the Lord is in His holy temple.
Let all the earth keep silence before Him.”

Back in the summer of 2010, I had a really cool experience with the Lord. I was SUPER excited about the rapture happening that year. The Lord gave me a dream back in 2005 of the rapture happening on a full moon and as I'm waiting for the rapture to happen during a full moon one evening in 2010, I hear a "chirp" on my phone. I looked to see who it was and saw that it was my uncle, who rarely EVER sends me emails because he's illiterate and doesn't know how to spell. In his email, all he wrote was "Hab 2:3 Rev 1" and that was it! I quickly looked the verses in that order and I KNEW without a doubt that it was the Lord speaking to me. He told me through my uncle that "the vision (revelation of Jesus Christ{my rapture dream}) is yet for the appointed time but AT THE END it will come, though it tarry WAIT FOR IT!!! I knew that the rapture would not happen on that particular full moon which really bummed me out. But I know that we are not far away from "the appointed time." Great verse to write about Regina! Maranatha Lord Jesus!!!

Habakkuk is this little book that I rarely look at; there are treasures of wisdom and hope in there.

See? It is an appointed time. Not a late time. Not an oops time. It (the Lord's return, redemption, judgment of the wicked) will come ON time at the appointed time. The word of the Lord is not a lie. Though it didn't happen years ago, it will surely come. With "peace" talks on again, sabre rattling among nations and kingdoms and brother against brother, also characteristics that seem like the days of Noah, signs in the heavenlies, hang on RFTHers, the vision and word given to Habakkuk will not fail. Is it Randy on 5Doves who says Tick Tock...

Come back Lord. Father, please gather the lost sheep of Israel now and stop the wolves who want to devour them. Please reveal Your Son now so that Israel and the nations will believe in You and believe Your Word. I ask in Jesus name.

Regina I have always loved that verse from Habbukuh because it speaks to the character of God - the FAITHFUL GOD Who keeps His covenant from generation to generation.

Michael G, I love your testimony and now every full moon I will be looking even more for the Lord to come back.

God is a Faithful God, one of the reasons without number to love Him.

Habakkuk chapter two

Because the Earth and the moon are attracted to each other, tides are created, just like magnets are attracted to each other. The moon tries to pull at anything on the Earth to bring it closer. But, the Earth is able to hold onto everything except the water. Since the water is always moving, the Earth cannot hold onto it, and the moon is able to pull at it.

It's possible that during a full moon the Rapture could happen since our bodies on the most part are made up of water. The present water contents in a human, ranges anywhere from an adult woman 55%, Man 60% to a baby 78% and 65% at one year old.

Since the moon is attracted to bodies of water, the pull of the moon also affects our bodies at present as well. With our body being changed with God's Holy Spirit, in a twinkle of an eye liken unto the Lord's body with perhaps an even a higher percentage of water in our body and with the Holy Spirit, changing our bodies to incorruptible ones; I can see how the magnetic like pulling up, to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds, at the Rapture might take place. The moon assistance pulling at the water in our bodies...which perhaps would contain much more water at the higher percentages perhaps as high as 95 %?

It was so awesome and felt SOOOO real! The Lord timed the dream PERFECTLY at 3:00 a.m. Back then, I slept with my radio on and always had the channel on K-Love. EXACTLY when I woke up, I was BAWLING my eyes out and the song from Chris Rice was playing called "Come to Jesus." The Lord timed the dream perfectly. I woke up just in time to hear the last verse,

"And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!"

I'm tearing up even now as I write this. It was utter RAPTURE!!! Be blessed & maranatha!!!
