NASA: Sun's Magnetic Field is about to Flip

Fair Use for Information & Discussion Purposes

Something big is about to happen on the sun. According to measurements from NASA-supported observatories, the sun's vast magnetic field is about to flip.

"It looks like we're no more than 3 to 4 months away from a complete field reversal," says solar physicist Todd Hoeksema of Stanford University. "This change will have ripple effects throughout the solar system."

The sun's magnetic field changes polarity approximately every 11 years. It happens at the peak of each solar cycle as the sun's inner magnetic dynamo re-organizes itself. The coming reversal will mark the midpoint of Solar Cycle 24. Half of 'Solar Max' will be behind us, with half yet to come ...

Could this have an effect on the heat that comes from the sun to Earth? In Revelation it talks about how the sun will be scorching during the Tribulation.

Thank you, Valerie, for that video explaining to us the science behind the Sun's Magnetic Field about to flip. I didn't know that it has flipped before...causing no harm to our earth. And besides, b/c God holds the whole in His hands...we really do have nothing to fear, do we!?

How true, Kath, how true. Atleast this planet is under God's protection until He takes us all out of here...then after we're gone, it's anybody's guess as to what's going to happen next. That's why I don't envy the folks whom are all left behind, that's for sure, do you?

All I can say is, the Tribulation believers are going to need angelic protection and Biblical-style miracles to survive that period! And even then, only a minority of them will survive to enter the Millennial Kingdom as mortals.
