1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Hi everyone. I'm 27 years old and recently God pulled me back into church. I was saved as a teenager but didnt feel anything until recently when I started reading the Bible. I feel great and can't wait for the rapture. I read the Bible through in 6 months and it changed my life. I also read J. Vernon McGee where he explains Revelation and it got me more exited. My family has always believed in the pre-trib rapture and McGee explains how it couldn't be any other way!

I have been searching the Internet on nde and dreams people have had to get encouraged on how soon the rapture is. And I keep being drawn back to this site. So I'm glad to be a member now, thanks!:
Last week I felt I needed to write down a message, possibly for my dad to preach but now I am sharing it with others and I'm sorry if I'm blunt, but maybe it might help an outside reader. I really believe it was from the Holy Spirit.

A lot of people who need to hear the Truth the most are the ones who don’t come to church, whether they are atheist or just think that believing in God is enough for entrance into Heaven. These great sermons being preached cannot get to unbelievers unless we share it with them out of church and invite them to church. It is our duty, our job as Christians. It isn’t an option or just a job for the preacher. The apostles had hardly anything with them while traveling many miles in foreign territories. Their lives didn’t consist of cleaning house, going to work, going out to eat or going to bed. They didn’t concentrate on material possessions that we absorb our lives around today. The apostles actually risked going to jail, persecution, and even death in a much different world than we live in today. There might still be persecution of Christians overseas but we live in America, the country we are proud of for letting us live freely. We can talk about Christ without worrying about being put in jail or beaten for it. But we are doing LESS witnessing when we are living in a time that gives us the greatest OPPORTUNITY in history to witness without fear.
Our #1 goal, as is Jesus’, is to get as many people as possible to turn away from the door of the devil and spend eternity with Jesus. The most important thing in every single human beings life is whether they have accepted Christ, which determines their eternity. Our lives our short but eternity is forever. When you have a child, you wonder what occupation they might have, what they’ll look like, what they’ll accomplish in their life, but FIRST you need to put all your attention to securing their eternal future. There is nothing more important.
What do people in our society concentrate on instead? How about worrying about everything from your weight to how stylish your clothes are. Look at Verse (1).
(1) “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? (Matthew 6:25-27 NIV)
Who cares what people think, what great job you have or want to get, or any material things of this world. For those accomplishments should not be your number one concern, for God will bless you with what you need and even more according to his will. See verse (2).
(2) “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” (Mark 8:36 NIV)
We accept way too much these days from our society and we are too comfortable with the ways of the world. Why doesn’t overall man’s current state of sin alarm us? Why do we look the other way and even get accustomed to life the way man created it, instead of the way God created it? In the same way Lot’s wife was comfortable in Sodom and Gommorah. She looked back because her heart was still there. In the same way, how can we expect to be raptured if our hearts are in this world?
You can’t take one or two verses out of the Bible like John 3:16 for example and base your salvation solely on the fact that you believe in Jesus. It is possible for someone to believe that the Bible is true and that Jesus exists, but still lack salvation. You have to accept Jesus and let your life be transformed by Him. There could be many church goers and men of great works who spend eternity in Hell because they never actually forfeited their lives to Him. If you are saved, it goes beyond belief, church attendance, donating, etc. We give ourselves pats on the back for every little thing we do when we really need to say, now what’s next, what next step do we take to further please God and carry out his will. One thing in his will for everyone is for you to read the Bible daily. See verses (3) & (4).
(3) “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8 NIV)
(4) “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
God makes time for you, so you need to make time for Him. You might not understand it all or have a lot of time but if you seek, you will find. Ask Jesus to put the desire in your heart to read the Bible and to give you a reminder every day. Also ask Him to give you understanding. Read the NIV version and start in the New Testament in Matthew. That takes you straight to Jesus. He will change your life. We have the handbook to life but put it aside and then wonder why we aren’t happy! The Word of God answers all the questions that we need to know and God determines what we need to know. Read the Bible straight from your phone, the internet, or even get it on CD and listen to it.
Have you ever heard the saying, “You are who you hang out with?” Well if you are around worldly people and things more than you are learning the ways of the Bible, then how can you act like a Christian? The Bible states we must be ready to answer questions from sinners. See verse (5).
(5) “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.” (1 Peter 3:15-16 NIV)
Everyone falls and no one can live apart from sin indefinitely until Heaven but don’t sin on purpose and repeatedly. True Christians will not keep on sinning the same sin. When you fall, Jesus will pick you up, chastise you, and then you’ll be stronger the next time you are tempted. If you are a Christian but it isn’t visible to others because you aren’t acting like it or producing good works, then maybe you should rethink your salvation because verse (6) says:
(6) “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:18-20 NIV)
You need to be ready to help others give their life to Christ. But first you must be sure that you have. The sinner’s prayer isn’t a magical incantation. It has to come from your heart, you must be dedicated to the will of the Lord, you must be open for Jesus to come in and change you. Are you ready to follow Jesus, to let him change your life, to give you peace and happiness? After reading this, don’t go back to your old ways, don’t ignore the Holy Spirit. Don’t let the demons pat you on the back saying, “You are just fine, you don’t have to change.” The last verse here says:
            (7) “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? (Luke 6:46 NIV)
How powerful is that verse? Read it again. Do not hesitate or put off what Jesus is telling you to do today.

Re: New member with info to share

Hi Stephanie,

Welcome to Rapture Flight to Heaven. We are constantly reminded, that once we too were lost, and when we accepted the Lord Jesus as our Savior, we began to act like a new creation, by following in the Masters footsteps. Jesus taught us so many things, but the greatest thing He taught us is to love God first and foremost and one another. In the end there are three things, Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these three is Love.

Therefore, if we truly love the lost, or our brothers and sisters whom are hurting, we are a reflection of Jesus himself, for God's Holy Spirit dwells within us, and pours out God's love. For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whomsoever believes in Jesus should not perish but have eternal life. If we truly believe, then we turn our belief into action and accept Jesus into our lives, and make Him the Lord of our life. For greater is He that is in you that he that is in the world. Holy Spirit, dwells in those whom accept Jesus, and good fruit is produced, because of whom dwells within. We should always give Honor & Glory to God, for He is the one that guides us to life everlasting in His kingdom. The Holy Spirit teaches all things, guides us,
and comforts us in our time of need. For God is with us, therefore, we have no fear, for who can overcome God, there is no one in Heaven or on Earth.

Time to spread the word of how much God loves us, so much so that He didn't spare His own beloved Son Jesus, to suffer and die a horrific death on the cross, for our sins, so that all would be saved and that none should perish, whom willing accept the Lord's sacrifice.

The time is short, and we have to work while we still can, to tell those, whom are lost come to Jesus, for today is the day to do so, tomorrow may be too late.

Repent of your sins, accept the Lord as you Personal Savior, and confess with your mouth you have done so. You won't regret it, when it comes time
to stand before the Lord and God, and give account of your life. For we have all sinned and have come short of God's Glory, therefore,
we all need Jesus, the sinless one, whom willing gave His life up, for you and for me, because of God's love for us. His love for His Father, and us
was exhibited on that day of His crucifixion and death. Our victory, from Hell, death, and the grave was on the day of His resurrection.

For there is no greater love than to give your life up for another; Jesus gave His life up, for all of us; what a great and awesome love that is, like no other love you'll ever experience; agape love, love of God the Father for His children.

Let's show some of that love this very day, and witness to others how much God loves us, and what He did for us. Let's show our appreciation to God the Father, by bringing souls to His Kingdom for His Honor & Glory.

John 13:34 - 35 NASB

Jesus Said,

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Matthew 34-40

Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’

In Jesus' Love,
Valerie

Hi, Stephanie! Welcome to our friendly forum.

And you're right. The sinner's prayer is not a magical incantation. It's a request that we make of God. If we're sincere in that request, God grants it, and we become His. He implants a new nature in us that never wants to stop following Jesus, and He seals and indwells us with His Holy Spirit.

Re: New member with info to share

The Lord has put it on my heart recently to witness like Valerie said. Ive made out an invitation about Jesus and printed them and have been putting them in mailboxes in the neighborhood. I figured I could reach more ppl that way. I'm not outgoing so it works perfect for me.

We need to get as many ppl ready for the rapture as possible. Thanks for taking the time to read my message.
