1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Prayers Requested for Larry M. One of our New Members..please pray!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

One of our new members Larry M., did not ask me to do this, but I feel, He is in much need of our prayers! He has a serious illness, and has additional problems to bear. He has been suffering with much, and this medical condition could cause his death.

He also has financial problems caused by an unscrupulous person whom took advantage of him, and took most of his and his wife's life savings, etc. Without going into much detail, his wife died a few years ago, whom he loves dearly to this day, and was very close too is now alone. On the most part he has been on his own, except for his animals for company.

Larry has asked for prayer for his Sister Sharon, who recently had cancer surgery, and also for his brother Mark. He has left himself out completely and now I believe he deserves to be prayed for as well. The prayers of the righteous avail much, scripture states. Therefore, let's stand on this scripture in faith and lift Larry up in our prayers.

I know Jesus loves him, and I know we can all pray for Larry, and ask God to heal him, help him to hold onto his home, and to help him to have enough to get the necessities of life, food, & shelter, until Jesus comes.

I know that when we pray for others with sincerity, then God meets our needs as well.

Larry has not been doing well, and therefore, hasn't been posting or reading lately. I think he needs prayers and encouragement to hang on the best he can, for Jesus is coming very soon now.

Please stop, and take time to pray, that God will heal his body, sustain/ provide finances to meet his needs. Pray that God will help him to keep his home too. We all need the basics for life! We need to be Brothers and Sisters willing to lift up those whom are in need, even if we are in need, for we all can pray, believe, and God will move on his behalf.

Lord God Almighty Father, we lift Larry up in our prayers, and ask that you have mercy on him. Heal his physical serious problems, provide a way for him to stay in his home, and provide finances to sustain the necessities for life and living. Lord Heavenly Father, we know you work all things for good to those whom love you, and we know Larry loves you Jesus. Look down with mercy Lord, and hear our prayers for your servant. We pray you move mightily for him, until you take Larry and us home at the Rapture. Thank you Father for listening, we await your reply in your perfect timing according to your perfect will, for his life and ours. In Jesus name we pray & ask! Amen & Amen!

Lord hear our prayers!!!

Prayerfully,

Valerie

Father we ask in Jesus name that Larry M be strengthened and healed in his body, in his finances and have peace in his heart till Jesus comes. We thank you that Larry is accepted in the Beloved and that he is a member of the family of God. Praying for the protection of the blood of Jesus over Larry and all that belongs to him. In Psalm 91 You say that you give your angels special charge over us Father, and we thank you for stationing your angels around Larry to give him protection and direction. Carry him in your grace and favor until the day that You send Jesus to catch us up to Your home, Amen. Let it be so.

Amen, Valerie & Susan ~ thank you for letting us know, & for the wonderful prayer!

I've been keeping Larry, his sister Sharon & his brother Mark in my prayers, as well as lifting up all my family here on RFTH.

Valerie & Susan, may God bless you & the entire 'crew' with His courage, strength, protection and love!

Here's a favorite of mine, a meditation from John J. Parson's site, Hebrew4Christians.com:

Psalm 34:18-19 ~ New International Version (NIV)

18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all;

The LORD is Near to the Brokenhearted

Valerie, thank you for letting us know so that we can pray for Larry.

Larry, I'm praying for you dear brother, you have been through so much these past few years and I am so sorry. It is in terrible times like these where we feel so alone that He whispers to us, that we are not forgotten and that we are dearly loved by Him.

You are a treasured son of the Most High God and I pray that He strengthens you, heals you and gives you recompense for what was taken from you.

I'm praying for you.

Re: Prayers Requested for Larry M. One of our New Members..please pray!

Larry, I pray that our precious Lord will restore back to you all that has been stolen. May He heal and restore you back to perfect health, shower you with financial blessing and fulfill every need you have as His child. The evil one comes to destroy and steal and I bind him now in the name of Jesus and may the Lord send angels to surround and protect you.

I heard a army vet once said, "God gives the hardest battles to His toughest soldiers." Stay strong Larry, we are getting ready to meet our Lord face to face real soon and it is my prayer that we will all meet Him together in the air. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you dear brother.

Dearest Valerie, Texas Sue, Dale, Diane, NC Sue, and Tammy,
I will be posting a detailed writing to each of you and the rest of our RFTH family later today...but I wanted to say thank you to you now, and I apologize for not responding sooner...just so weary right now...I haven't slept yet. I don't sleep much for many reasons. I wasn't expecting this and was completely surprised by it! You have absolutly no idea how much you mean to me! There are no words in the english language to express what my heart yearns to say! I love you with the love of our Jesus, and pray that GOD will return to you what you've done and are for me! You are so loved and mean so much to me!
Your brother in Jesus,
Larry

Re: Prayers Requested for Larry M. One of our New Members..please pray!

Dear Larry, Brother in Christ, we love you too, and we know that you would do likewise for us as well. For if a person confesses to have accepted the Lord in their heart, then there must be good fruit coming forth. For we are to put our faith into action, just like the Lord did when He walked the Earth. For faith without works/actions is dead.

We are following in the Lord's footsteps, therefore, we try our best to be more like Jesus, and less like ourselves. Jesus is our perfect example as to how we should treat people, and love one another. When we are lead to pray for someone, like yourself, we're lead by the Lord, and guided by God's Holy Spirit within to do so.

We're Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and are following the golden rule as I call it; do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Pray for one another, Comfort one another in time of loss and sorrow. Encourage one another, when things look hopeless. Stand in faith and intercede for others, when they are weak and unable to do so. For everything that we do for others; we do it unto the Lord Jesus.

How can others know that we are disciples of Jesus, very simple, Love God first and foremost and one another; by this Jesus said they will know you are my disciples. These are the two commands that Jesus gave us, and in them all the commandments are combined within these two; Love God and one another.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die in our place on the cross, so that we might be once again reconciled unto God the Father through His willing sacrifice. For there is no greater love than to lay down your life for another; and Jesus did this for all of us sinners. For all have sinned and have come short of God's glory.

In the end there are three things, faith, hope and love, but the greatest of this is love. For if we Love God first and foremost, we have faith in Him, which comes by hearing, and we have Hope, because through God, all things are possible, for our hope lies in Christ Jesus.

We are followers of Christ, therefore, we do such things, for two reasons!
We love God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit; Love God first and foremost!
We love others with God's Love, that dwells within us, because God loved us
first while we were still sinners.

May God continue to strengthen you physically, emotionally, and spiritually, making a closer walk with Jesus, as God's Holy Spirit comforts you, and heals you from the inside out.

Don't worry, God knows everything, that has happened in the past, is happening now, and will happen in the future; lean on Him for understand,
and may the peace and love of Christ, remain within, and give you strength
to take one day at a time...Let go, and let God, He knows exactly what is best for all of us.

In Jesus' Love,
Your Sister in Christ,

Valerie
