1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Many times, I've thought of this song--"Family Of God", when ever you/or someone else mentions that us RFTHees are a family...a family of God.
So I looked into one of my many Gaither Gospel Music CDs, that I found this song as the first song on their--A Tribute To The Songs Of Bill & Gloria Gaither CD. And wanting to share the lyrics with you all, my RFTH Family.
You're most welcome, Val, for I too, love this song as well.
And I thank you too, for your above added youtube Gaiher songs also, including the accompaniment "Family Of God" video to my posted lyrics.

Yes our Dear brother Paul.N.F., has been with the Lord for a few years now, and John Tng, keeps reposting his articles daily in his memory!
I always loved to read his posts, even to this day when they are reposted on John's site.

When I read Paul's A.W. Tozer's quote from (Ephesians 3:14-15)--"I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named."
I immediately thought about Michael English, one of the Gaither Vocal Bands' song--"I Bowed On My Knees (And Cried Holy)". Wondering if perhaps his song had been derived from the above Biblical text
, too. If so, it wouldn't surprise me one bit, b/c even Fanny Crosby's beautiful hymns were also Biblically related as well.Maranatha!

It's this particular version that I saw where Michael English, Mark Lowry & the GVB filmed it at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
I too, stood up in my livingroom with my arms raised heavenwards tearfully singing the chorus right along with the theatrical audience; as Mark was having them repeat the chorus.
