1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
WOW! I have an awesome testimony of answered prayer and God's goodness to share!!!
My daughter's favorite cat, Snickers has been missing for weeks. The girls have been very worried about him. We have prayed for Jesus to bring him home safe every night before bed.
My husband was at the car wash when he heard his phone ring in the truck. It turned out to be his cousin's husband...they live one road over from us. He asked him if we wanted a cat, because they had one that had been hanging around their house. It turned out to be Snickers!!!
So not only was he at his cousin's house being fed and cared for this whole time, but he thought to call my husband, even though he had no idea that it was my daughter's cat!!!
Now, this is the icing on the cake...my youngest daughter woke up this morning (before any of this happened) and told us that she had a dream that Snickers came home safe and sound, and that they were so happy!!! How good is God!!! For anyone that has ever doubted this...He cares, even about the little things!
Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers in such an amazing way!!!

Our Heavenly Father really cares about us, even the small things in our lives.

I had to share this with my brothers and sisters here on RFTH and on facebook, because it was so exciting for me and my family to see God at work in even the smallest details of our lives!
Here is a comment that my neice left me on facebook that I loved...
"I got goosebumps! That is such a great story, reminds me that God is at work in every little aspect of our lives.. and cares so much... and speaks to his little ones to help them know his heart at a young age. That is just awesome! The way those girls loves and knows each and every one of those cats by name also is a great picture of how God loves and knows all his children... :-)"
