1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

I'll See in the Rapture!

I just love this song. I've never heard it before, first time ever was a couple of days ago.

I just wanted to say I'll See in the Rapture, some sweet day, very soon! That day is approaching and it is imminent. It is almost here, we're ready, and the Lord is willing! Listen for the "Come Up Here" for that meeting in the air. Our anticipation, longing and loving the Lord's appearance is about to take place. Oh what joy will fill our hearts when we behold our Savior face to face!

God knows the day and hour, we know it's near even at the door! We will be changed for eternity from mortal to immortality. We will have a body liken unto the Lord's. No more death, no more sorrow, no more pain and suffering, all things in us will be new.
Our real life, eternal life with the Lord will just begin. So many things we have not seen yet what the Lord has prepared for those whom love Him. Time to rejoice in the Lord, time to hold your head up high, and stretch your arms heavenward. Look our Savior comes with His Angels to escort us to our home!

So rejoice our days are numbered on Earth, for soon
we'll spend eternity with our beloved Savior, who's coming for His Bride.

Maranatha!

Re: I'll See in the Rapture!

Valerie, what a sweet, moving song. I have never heard that one before. It sure does make me homesick for all the ones I long so much to see again. Too many of the ones I love are in heaven now. Together soon though, it should not be too long now.

Re: I'll See in the Rapture!

I too, never heard that song before either. Sounds like the singer singing this sweet sweet moving song, could be a Gaither Gospel Singer...or some C & W singer.

Listening to it, and "Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling"...I began to get choked-up in tears as I began to weep, as I looked at Jesus' outstretched right hand.

Thank you so much, Valerie, for finding these beautiful songs.

Sue, it makes me homesick too, there are many too that have gone on before, loved ones, and I can't stop thinking what it will be like once we are reunited. It will be joy unspeakable!

Yes we'll be together soon with them. I'm sure they are anticipating our arrival as much as we are longing going home at long last. It's so perfect, Jesus, our dearest loved one, and our loved ones, along with all the loved Brothers & Sisters in Christ, most of us have not yet met face to face, only by written word, we share our thoughts daily at the forums.

Can't wait, to meet you all at that awesome gathering in the air!

I'LL SEE YOU IN THE RAPTURE

Blessings & Love in Jesus,

Valerie

Re: I'll See in the Rapture!

You'll all have to excuse me, for the mistake I made in the Subject title, it should read, I'll See you in the Rapture! Strange but I just noticed it today!

On Saturday, at Walmart, one of the very young workers there, had a loaded flat bed cart, with a metal handles on either side, ran into to me while I was sitting still in a mobility scooter. He ran straight into me, and hit me at the lower part of my head on the left hand side where the neck begins, right at the skull just above it. He really sent a hard blow, because I ended up with a bump the size of an egg on my head. My head was thrust forward as well.

I reported it to the assitant manager just in case, if I should have to end up with medical bills. I wasn't able to get in touch with my family doctor being Saturday, he only works to 12 noon. The emergency rooms are always packed and it takes hours before, one gets looked at.

I didn't notice that mistake until now...seems, like I'm forgetting words, or maybe it was the pain of it all. The bump has gone down somewhat, but not all the way. Was actually feeling better Sunday. Perhaps I should see my doctor and have him take a look as well.

I let Texas Sue & Kathy G., know right away, and I thank them for their support and prayers!

So if you see me making more mistakes than usual, know that is the reason why!

It's really time to go home now, I'm just plain worn out.

Maranatha!
