1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

"The Passion of The Christ" - the original long theatrical version

As I mentioned in my post in Calvin's Beryl-the denial of life, the denial of prophecy, the END OF GRACE to America! thread...

I saw The Passion of The Christ (the original long theatrical version that's being shown @ the HLE down in Orlando, FL)) on TBN last night. And I've been weeping off 'n' on all morning long after seeing it. That's how truly moved I was by watching our beloved loving Saviour, Jesus Christ, showing His deep love for all those whom administered those scourgings and beatings on Him.

Even to Barabas, He loved even him too. I'll never forget how He looked at Barabas, when the latter stopped to take a closer look at Jesus, he saw the love in His eyes. He even forgave those Roman soldiers for the cruel way that they nailed Him on the cross. Such love He has for us!?

Also, after Jesus died, that huge tear falling out of the skies...I know, had to come from the Father, as the storm clouds blew in. I could swear I heard the anguished cry of the Father. And then the EQ that tore the curtins/or drapes apart from the Holy-of-Holies in the Temple.

Thoughts of Jason Crabb's "Please Forgive Me" w/scenes or stills from The Passion of The Christ sprang to mind...which also is moving. Here, I hope, is the youtube link to Jason's song...

P.S. I surely hope that you folks too, saw this much longer uncut theatrical version as well. Did you?
