1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Good post Calvin. Like Jesus's parable of the wheat and the tares, in the church there are many who claim to be christians who have been "seeded" into the group by the enemy to lead people astray. This time, these days as no other since Noah's discernment and relying on God's Spirit is an absolute essential. Everything and everyone MUST line up with the true word of God or toss it!

Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil!
Marriage was ordained by God between Man & Woman!

Marriage between Man & Man/ Woman & Woman is a desecration of God's instution of Matrimony. The only reason people do it, is to make it feel right in their minds, while God sees such a union as an abomination and the marriage bed defiled!

I totally agree with you Texas Sue, many are being lead astray in many churchs It is absolutely essential that we rely on God's Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the truth through the Holy Scriptures.

Too much deception around, wolves poseing in sheep's clothing.

We can not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from mouth of God!

Let every man/woman/child be a liar, but God is not a liar, therefore, His word is more precious than gold or silver and you can count on it 100%++++++.

Obediance to God's word is essential if one truly loves the Lord. We must stop being a people pleasure, politically correct, and start pleasing God, by acting on the His Holy written word, and living by it's standards. If God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and never changes, we must also live by the standards God expects us to, according to His word, even if it was written thousands of years ago.
