(I put this together to send out to our family but I thought
that I would share it with you because it has SOOOO many
prophetic overtones!!!)

ALL:

Today, many of the family and friends of Dr. "Tommy" Barnes will
be gathering to honor a great man and doctor. I thought I would
share this but do not know the Emails of Tommy, Fred, Jack, and
little Susan or I would sent it.

On the same day Dr. Barnes passed away, my mother and I decided
to make a quick trip to Jackson and, upon finishing our business, we
drove over to Cracker Barrel on I 55 to eat lunch. (Mama knew that
they have the turkey dinners on Thursday.)

Anyway, upon finishing lunch, she had just gotten into the car and
I heard someone call out, "Polly", and it was Jack Barnes who had
just driven up. He said he was there to see his parents.

Sort of strange since Hinds county's population is about 1/4 million
people and you can go a lifetime without running into someone in
a population like that. That same morning during our drive, I had
NOT mentioned to my mother that I had been thinking about my
grandfather (for whom I'm named) and her father who had died
EXACTLY 24 YEARS before on 5/17/88. No need to cause sadness,
I thought. I can ALWAYS remember the "5/17" by:

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

In other words, my grandfather had become a "NEW" heavenly
occupant (in his new body) on a "5/17"!!!

NOW.............

It will ALSO be easy to remember Dr. Barnes' day of passing on.

BUT..........

Did you know that Dr. Barnes ALSO died on Ascension Day!!??
That was the day Jesus was also "taken up" to heaven!!!!

Acts 1
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld,
he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went
up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing
up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from
you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have
seen him go into heaven.

There's one more thing I'd like to share............

As some of you may know, the Lord called me to "watch"
prophetically for the Lord's return. (Not too many in the
established "church" care to do so.) Things are VERY close
to His return NOW. Even the actual "wheat" harvest is going
on now)!!!

John 12 (KJV)
23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come,
that the Son of man should be glorified.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat
fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die,
it bringeth forth much fruit.
25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth
his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Anyway............

This morning, as I came downstairs, and, after reading my
Bible, was thinking about Dr. Barnes, the personal signs,
the MAJOR signs upon the Earth - and perhaps Dr. Barnes'
passing "is" another sign (taking the "day" and timing), and,
it hit me.............

I wonder where the word "doctor" is in scripture?

So..........

A family Bible was sitting next to me and I took it and looked
up "Luke" because "Luke" (as you may know) was known as
"the beloved physician" or "Dr. Luke".

The following is, again, shocking............

The word, "doctor" (or "doctors"), is found only "3" TIMES in
the entire King James Version Bible and 2 of those times is
in "Luke" and 1 of those is "5:17", again, the very numbered
"day" that "our beloved doctor" passed:

Luke 5:17
And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching,
that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by,
which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea,
and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to
heal them.

I've thought that this "may" be the VERY LAST TIME that all
the family will be together "before" the Lord's actual return.

Dr. Barnes' passing would certainly honor the One who gave
Himself for us "who were dead in trespasses and sins" if we
take it all to heart and would remember and give ourselves
MUCH more fully to Him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Psalm 19
14 Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

MUCH LOVE AND BLESSINGS TO THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY
OF DR. BARNES AND TO HIS MEMORY!!!!!!!!!!!
