1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

"Joy To The World!" - A End of the Tribulation Period song

Fellow RFTHees,

I found this Christmas Carol in my The Complete Christmas Music Collection songbook, that also can be an end of the Tribulation Period song too. Here are the lyrics by Isaac Watts, & music by G.F. Handel...

1. Joy to the World!
The Lord has come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heav'n and nature sing,
And heav'n and nature sing
And heav'n,
And heav'n and nature sing.

2. Joy to the Wordl!
The Saviour reigns;
Let men, their songs employ;
While field and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

3. He rules the world!
With truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders of His love.

Re: "Joy To The World!" - A End of the Tribulation Period song

Revelation 19 (NKJV):

--11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

--12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.

--13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

--14 And armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

--15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

--16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS
AND LORD OF LORDS.

Re: "Joy To The World!" - A End of the Tribulation Period song

Here are the lyrics in their entirety:

1. Joy to the world!
The Lord has come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heav'n and nature sing,
And heav'n and nature sing
And heav'n, and heav'n and nature sing.

2. Joy to the earth!
The Saviour reigns;
Let men, their songs employ,
While field and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

3. No more let sin and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground.
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found
Far as, far as the curse is found.

4. He rules the world
With truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, and wonders of His love.

Kathy G., yup...that 3rd stanza of your posted JTTW version, certainly nails it, re: this Christmas Carol geared more to the end of the Trib. Period, alright.

Thank you for this version w/all four stanzas included, as well as for the Nat King Cole youtube video, of him singing the carol, too.
